…medieval I love to draw a dry stone wall. Though really I should put my money where my mouth is and go on a dry stone walling course. Finally work out where those stones are actually meant to go.

Stramash Hardback is now live on Kickstarter kck.st/3W1atAZ
Use black pen! It's hard to know which is the most vivid fantasia on this page; Davy's ever-evolving night beast vision, or Nemulon's agricultural subsidy form, which features some truly exotic lactations, plus chibi Esther to help you along.

Guess what? The Comics Courier/The Comics Staple is headed to @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social next month! Come find us at the 2000AD Hall! www.thoughtbubblefestival.com/2000admap
The relevant form Nemulon-14 lacks Nemulon-13's nuclear core, ability to expand to a vast size, and many of the more exciting features it brought to bear during the NEMS storyline. But it does come with an office suite and a really rapid laser printer.

Boo to a goose You can read part 2 of BLIGHT in full, now, on my Patreon! Esther keeps a mental checklist of era-specific popular martial arts to ask people if they know, you know, when it all kicks off. 1975: kung fu. 1988: ninjitsu. 2001: Dance Dance Revolution. And so on.

Everyone knows public transport around Leeds isn't very good. But what would actually be better? Today we asked rail guru @garethdennis.uk to take over and design the network we *actually* need. With 5 lines and 89 new stations, he didn't hold back... theexchange.news/leeds-should...
A shared bathtime This is quite a busy story, it's been hard to find places to draw Nemulon at full extension. Anyway, here he is at the midpoint of this tale. The second half commences on Monday.

Strange, isn’t it? I've been fascinated by pea pod wine since I watched a TV show where Giles Coren and Sue Perkins tried to live like "The Good Life" TV show. Not fascinated enough to drink it, you understand. I remember Coren saying "it's the sort of thing you'd give to the children." I don't…
I happened across this link from 25 years ago and was surprised by some of the names I'd forgotten, but also how many of them made a light go on in my head straight away. www.keenspot.com/keencon2001....
Hard to come by Esther was a singular child.
Good people I live near a smallholding and enjoy observing the animals. There used to be a rooster who had a crow like a donkey's bray, "HEE HAWWWW" all day long, but alas he was eaten by, I believe, "some bastard fox".

Today's GoComics rerun features one of my most obscure references. It remains cryptic to this day. www.gocomics.com/bad-machiner...
Don’t kill yourself, Davy I passed up on the opportunity to have that bell go "ding dang" rather than "ding ding" but this is a mark of my latterday restraint. Don't worry - momma's little baby still likes shortenin' bread.
Can't wait for this. I'll be there, the man who (I have guessed) has made the most comics about Sheffield, in Sheffield. Hopefully at some point I'll be given the key to the city or a commemorative cutlery set. Or both. See you SATURDAY.
It's the full line-up for SCARF 2026! Far too many people for me to tag in this post but WHAT A CROP 😙🤌✨ October 10th 2026 at Trafalgar Warehouse, Sheffield, S1 4JT - completely free entry, and we'll have some freebies for the first 50 punters through the door! Put it in your diaries 📒
London wench A historic j'accuse, delivered with a pipe stem by... my notes say "Farmer Finch (no relation") so we'll have to go with that. If I was a real writer, he'd have a name, like Atticus Aloysius Smith. Of course, they used to teach you how to j'accuse in schools in Yorkshire, but it all…
