It turns out, new rollerblades come with compacted white paper filler in them (to help keep shape?) and I don't need a bigger size afterall. 😅

Fixed a bug in a go project I haven't touched in 6 years, but is still deployed and functioning. Inevitably, I had to update the go version and add a go.mod file. Go is definitely better than it was 6 years ago!

Whether ADHD or the lack of discipline, or both, still the same result. 🎯

You are not unemployable because you like freedom You are unemployable because you lack discipline and switch context way too often Which might work well for entrepreneurship But in general it works badly

It's probably going to to get down to 4°F tonight. My heat pump will invariable switch over to auxiliary heat. In my house, aux heat really means npm installing and running llms locally.

That gives me another idea 💡: Sell miniaturized bitcoin farms that fit in your heating system that will heat your home when the heat pump needs more umph. It's got to be cheaper than the heat strips that are used currently.

👀 A multi-select-map component! This component took me longer than I would have liked. Mostly learning how maps work. 😅 Thanks to: ☑️ shadcn-svelte ☑️ layercharts

Day 20 — Vim mode! You can enable it in the playground and tutorial and it will remember your preference between visits. Don't worry, you can always quit by turning it off again (or closing the tab) 🎁 svelte.dev/playground

This has been fun! A svelte dopamine hit every day. I'll be sad when it's over. Are we going to do this during the rest of the year? 🤔 - 5 days of Cinco de Mayo? - 4 days of Independence day? - Sveltoween? - Sveltegiving? ...

Ok Hadar, your forgiven. Just disappointed because I thought someone liked me more than my mom does and found out it was automated.

Hadar@hadars.bsky.social

I've been getting many DMs asking whether I was a bot / using some sort of automation because I liked so many posts! Some folks thought it was too much and had me blocked 😅 others were just curious. TL;DR: Skip to the last comment for my thoughts Skip to the 3rd comment to see my approach

#CSS scroll-state() container queries: the "stuck" query ```css @container scroll-state(stuck: top) { box-shadow: var(--shadow-5); border-radius: var(--radius-3); margin: var(--size-5); } ``` article coming soon! (currently in Canary experiments)

🚫 tweets - the sound of a dying bird 🚫 skeets - news or gossip ✅ bleets - The characteristic cry of a goat or sheep. A whining, feeble complaint. 🐐🐑 Perfect!

Brian Beard@babeard.com

Yes. Though we've missed a real opportunity to call it bleets.

> cd old-sapper-app > `npm run deploy: production` > Ok. This may take a few minutes > .... 10 minutes later .... > Done. I'm not sure how I lived like this back then! I'm sure grateful for sveltekit.

Starter packs are nice, but finding a popular post that interests you and then following those who liked it seems more focused. Except no follow all button. 😐
