Our brand new feature-packed version of AzuraCast, 0.24.0, is now live on our Stable release channel. It includes features like grouped playlists (clockwheels) and a self-contained listener map, plus lots of technical and security fixes (including the ones from earlier this week). Check it out!

AzuraCast is a PHP-based application. We are affected by the vulnerabilities reported this morning. We are currently awaiting updated base images from Docker so that we can update our Rolling Release and Stable versions. Until then, please shut down any production server running our software.

We will tag new Rolling and Stable versions with the patched PHP base image as soon as possible. Due to the scope and scale of the vulnerabilities reported today, large portions of the build process behind the Internet are clogged up and may take extended time to go through. Please be patient.

We are aware of a change CartoDB has made to its free tile service to require an API key. We've fixed this in our Rolling Release by moving to self-hosted vector map tiles. Once the other features in our current Rolling Release are tested and verified, we will include it in the next Stable release.

New in the Rolling Release: Grouped/Nested Playlists! A much-requested feature, you can create playlists that are made up of other playlists, with custom rules for each one's playback order. This lets you create complex playback rules and "Clockwheels". See full details in our changelog below!

AzuraCast 0.23.6 is now available on our Stable release channel. It incorporates a number of security fixes that have been reported to us recently, mostly affecting permissions for already-logged-in users. Updating is strongly recommended for all installations. See the full details in our changelog:

AzuraCast 0.23.5 is available on our Stable release channel. It focuses on routine dependency upgrades and bug fixes, including an updated version of Liquidsoap (2.4.4) that fixes several bugs identified in the earlier version we have been running. Updating is recommended for all users.

As the open-source ecosystem changes, we want to be clear: AzuraCast is 100% human-coded. We do not use AI assistants to produce code for us, nor do we accept pull requests written by them. Our application is the product of years of hard work, not "vibe coding", and we intend to keep it that way.

AzuraCast 0.23.4 is now available on the stable release channel, including some new features, quality-of-life fixes, and substantial improvements to the security around Liquidsoap's custom scripting, especially as it applies to multi-tenant installations. See our changelog for more information.

AzuraCast version 0.23.3 is now available on our Stable release channel. Along with some minor but important bug fixes, this release also patches a security vulnerability that was recently reported to us that specifically affects multi-tenant installations (i.e. resellers). Updating is recommended.

Calling all radio DJs! Though Mixxx was not originally designed for radio, there are a lot of you out there and we want to make Mixxx better. We have a project to improve Fader Start support, but we need your help! Please help us better understand your needs: mixxx.discourse.group/t/looking-fo...

AzuraCast 0.21 is now out on our Stable branch! New features include support for Rocket Streaming Audio Server (RSAS), BlueSky posts as Web Hooks, many bug fixes and hugely improved documentation of our over 250 API endpoints. Updating is recommended for all Stable channel users.

For power users: this version is the first stable release to include Liquidsoap 2.3.x. We've also significantly updated our APIs to be more consistent. If you have custom Liquidsoap code or applications that use our APIs, you should review Liquidsoap's documentation and our API docs before updating.

New in the Rolling Release: Support for Rocket Streaming Audio Server (RSAS), a high-performance commercial drop-in replacement for Icecast. We don't ship the binaries with our instances, but you can upload them (and the license key) via the Admin panel, then use it on any station.

rocketbroadcaster.comRocket Streaming Audio ServerRSAS is a modern alternative to SHOUTcast and Icecast, and delivers streaming audio in MP3, AAC, AAC+, Opus, FLAC, to your listeners on the web and to mobile devices.

New in the Rolling Release: we now support using Rocket Streaming Audio Server (RSAS) as your broadcasting frontend. RSAS is proprietary software, so you have to upload it yourself via the Administration panel, but once installed, it's largely a drop-in replacement for Icecast with high performance.

New in the Rolling Release: Post to Bluesky! We've added Bluesky web hook support to the latest version of AzuraCast. All you need is a handle and an "app password" (easily generated from the settings page). Hashtags, mentions and URLs are all supported as part of posts.

We've released AzuraCast 0.20.4 to our stable release channel. We had several reports of issues with the AutoDJ scheduler and have reverted it to the previous version. All other bug fixes and improvements from 0.20.3 are still in place.

AzuraCast 0.20.3 is now available on the Stable release channel. This version includes improvements to the AutoDJ scheduler, playlist priorities, the ability for system admins to set maximum bitrates on stations, and many bug fixes and tweaks.

This is the last stable release that will be on Liquidsoap 2.2.x. Now that this release is out, our Rolling Release will be a test platform for 2.3.x, which has reached a more stable Release Candidate stage that we're comfortable shipping to more users. Help us test this new version if you can!

We apologize for the inconvenience, but our demo instance is currently offline. We were informed by our hosting provider (Vultr) that they no longer sponsor open-source projects (despite listing our project in their own one-click app marketplace), but only after receiving a sizable services bill.

We are currently looking for a new hosting provider for our demo instance. Other services, such as our homepage, docs, and update checks are unaffected by this and remain online.

You are up to date.
