We are Jews calling on world leaders to hold the Israeli gov accountable for the atrocities it has committed in Gaza & to press for a long-term political solution. Read our Four Demands below ⬇️

"Please do not cry for me because your tears cause me pain." These are the words from 10-year-old Rasha's will. Dr. Thaer Ahmad shared her heartbreaking words at the UN to expose this brutal war on children. Her final wishes must be our call to action. 📷: UNWebTV on 25/Sep/2025.

Speaking last week at a WFP side event in New York, Dr. Ambereen Sleemi, who was in Gaza in July 2025, shared a grim assessment while advocating for peace: "Even the ones who were able to make it were malnourished moms giving birth to malnourished babies." Support Gaza: join us at avaaz.org.

Imagine being trapped in a city of 260,000 people, cut off from food, medicine, and safety — waiting for a massacre everyone sees coming. This is the reality of people in El Fasher, Sudan, right now. Read this harrowing investigation from The Guardian. www.theguardian.com/global-devel...

Local journalists remain on the ground reporting under bombardment, hunger, and constant threats to their lives. They are some of the only eyes, ears, and voices keeping the world informed.

For the first time in history, 270 media outlets from over 70 countries joined together to make themselves heard. Front pages, websites, social media profiles, and broadcasts went dark to demand a stop to the killing of journalists and call for press freedom in Gaza.

For almost two years, nearly 210 journalists have been killed in Gaza. Israel has blocked international press access – the most severe restriction in any modern conflict. This is a direct attack on people’s right to know the truth.

Amira* was 7 months pregnant when she fled Sudan’s brutal war. Packed onto trucks, extorted at gunpoint, stranded without water, she recorded her escape in an audio diary shared with BBC News through Avaaz. Go to and read: bit.ly/escapesudan. *Name replaced for her safety.

Real global solidarity is Gaza's doctors saving lives, Indigenous Peoples defending our planet, & activists fighting violence. They are the heart of humanity on the front lines. For #WorldHumanitarianDay, amplify their voices. Join us: avaaz.org

𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁. When journalists are silenced, the world goes blind. Targeting the press is an assault on truth — and under international law, such acts may constitute a war crime. There must be independent investigation and accountability.

Here’s what Dr. Graeme Groom — a doctor who’s worked in Gaza dozens of times — had to say about Europe’s refusal to take meaningful action against Israel, despite its blatant human rights violations in Gaza.

They’re standing up for people in Gaza. Francesca Albanese spoke out. While doctors continue to raise the alarm, again and again. Let’s show who really deserves the world’s most prestigious prize secure.avaaz.org/bsFrancesca #NobelForFrancesca #StandWithGazaDoctors #JusticeForGaza #Nobel

Europe is heating up, and it’s not just the weather. From deadly heatwaves to record-breaking temperatures, the data is clear: climate change is here, and it’s accelerating.

Rima Hassan and Avaaz came together to send a clear message to European leaders: we can't forget about children in Gaza! Along with our members, doctors who just returned from Gaza, families and friends, we came together to make sure EU leaders look those children in the eyes and confront Israel.

In just 2024, Brazil recorded 731 oil-related accidents. That’s an average of two per day. Leaks, spills, fires. Offshore disasters. Now imagine this happening at the mouth of the Amazon River.

🔥 Victory! A ship carrying 14+ tons of weapons to Israel left Marseille — without the weapons on board! Why? Because brave dockworkers refused to load them. 250,000 of us stood with them! Now Macron and world leaders must act and stop every last arms shipment. 👉 secure.avaaz.org/campaign/en/...
