y'know if you think about it Wuhu Island is basically Mata Nui, the island paradise where the Miis (Matoran) ended up after being taken from their homeland of Tomodachi Life (Metru Nui). them finally making their way back could be a reason they're not as present in Switch Sports in this essay I will

NEW: Remedy's latest game, Control Resonant, is filled with art galleries. The galleries are filled with real art When I began talking to Remedy about it, I was delighted to discover who the artists are: many are the game developers' parents My story... www.gamefile.news/p/control-re...

gamefile.newsWho made the art inside Control Resonant? When the developers of Control Resonant needed to fill their video game version of New York City with art galleries, they tapped the talents of people they knew particularly well

liberals are already trying to turn brazil's victory into proof that voting works, ignoring the fact that brazil succeeded because they had a charismatic, pro-trans, anti-genocide leftist to vote for and not limp dick moderates whose love of police brutality is second only to their love of genocide

Some of the art is also by Remedy staffers, who are essentially exhibiting their side projects in Resonant. A very cool aspect of this game, from a studio that often taps family and friends to fill things out Read all about it (and why there are so many Pulse Fitness gyms in the game, too!)

every single reporting of this new feature is extremely obnoxious because its fearmongering about a highly requested feature that stems from discussions surrounding troubleshooting and whatnot becoming relegated to closed off discord servers instead of public forums and discussion boards.

Real art isn't meant to coddle you. It's also not meant to challenge your preconceptions or evoke an emotional response. It's meant to be annoying

Reading this Famitsu interview Uchikoshi did and it seems that the reason the Crash Keys game was canceled was because *Uchikoshi* wanted to use AI, not the publisher. This snippet is driving me nuts. Makes all the posturing with Hundred Line read extremely shallow.

It really fucking sucks that there is a 1.) GTA game 2.) Set in my favorite setting 3.) that actually looks great And I can’t get excited for it because of Rockstar being one of scummiest people on the planet due to union rights, and Sony being the dumbest shitters on the planet.

I know the vast majority of you are here because of my art, but I need to share a thread about Brazilian politics because what we achieved today deserves to be mentioned and celebrated I'll do my best to be objective for those who have no idea what was happening

Not only is Video Game Esoterica (@videogameesoterica.bsky.social) so asleep at the wheel that he's peddling ports with malware in them now, but when called out on that he decides to try and play Internet Tough Guy... then backpedals into "haha you mad 😂" shit. Truly a blight on retro gaming.

The Super Mario Galaxy PC port (Nebula, not AstroCore) has gotten a bunch of updates and is now ready to talk about! Because why not more Mario youtu.be/WG1TfYQu7vs #gaming #gamingnews #retrogames

If HxH Nen Impact came out in 2000 and Marvel Vs Capcom 2 came out today then Nen Impact would be considered an untouchable classic and MVC2 would be called the most broken jankiest poorly made game imaginable. You'd see rage thumbnails all over youtube screaming "A MOTHERF$%#ING INFINITE???"

I say this as someone who almost entirely covers old fighting games, the worst fighting game today is still a more functioning well made game than like 90% of fighting games that came out in the 90s.

You kids got it so good now in the fgc. Back in my day a huge chunk of fighting games on store shelves were made by people who never played a fighting game before. Now every new fighting game has polish, patches, and is playable. We haven't seen a truly "trash" game in decades.

Being a video game writer has to be hell. >write asshole character called "Jimmy the Asshole" >be bombarded with complaints that Jimmy's an asshole >legions of tumblrites that inexplicably want to fuck him >republicans unironically admire him >800,000 downloads for BIG TITTY ANIME JIMMY on Nexus

Sweeney tries to make out he's saying this in defence of the beleaguered indie devs who want to use AI, but remember that his company laid off 1000 people earlier this year before pivoting to AI. He's taking this stance for one reason: he loves money

A lot of the struggle with people in their 20s/young adult drama is people who have figured out who they are get caught in the crossfire of other people still figuring out who they are
