There is, of course, one person who could definitively resolve questions about the signature on Trump's birthday card to Epstein, and the authenticity of the entire document. Because she's in prison in Texas, she could easily be made available for a sworn deposition. Just sayin'.

This Paul Weiss capitulation is the most disgraceful action by a major law firm in my lifetime, so appalling that I couldn’t believe it at first. Any lawyers at that firm—partners or associates—who don’t promptly resign will defile their moral and professional reputations beyond repair.

Just like Musk's Really Big Flaming Space Penis, his DOGE is experiencing rapid unscheduled disassembly. I expect he will gone by sometime next week. Perhaps he, too, will undergo rapid unscheduled disassembly. I'd pay good money to watch that happen.

Trump: Putin gets to keep your land. You can't join NATO. You get no security guarantees. And you give us your minerals. Now, give me a big sloppy kiss and tell me how much you love me for saving your country. Zelensky: No. Trump: Fuck off, ingrate.

In a coincidence so improbable as to seem miraculous, the federal budgetary savings for which DOGE has (falsely) claimed credit is almost precisely equal to the amount the federal government has paid to President Musk's businesses over the last two decades. Signs and wonders! wapo.st/41uIOJ4

wapo.stElon Musk’s business empire is built on $38 billion in government fundingGovernment infusions at key moments helped Tesla and SpaceX flourish, boosting Musk’s wealth.

If you're not following Emil Bove's astonishing and hilariously disastrous attempt to get federal DA's in the Southern District of NY to dismiss corruption charges against Mayor Eric Adams, you're missing out on some wildly wild shit.

Trump's trip to the Superbowl is estimated to have cost $15-20 million. And he left at half-time. President Musk is furious, and, as a cost-saving quid-pro-quo, has directed DOGE to stop subsidizing Donnie's Diet Coke addiction.

Federal courts continue to enjoin -- at least temporarily -- implementation of many of the Trump kakistocracy's dumbest and most appalling policy initiatives. But will those injunctions be obeyed, or are we speeding towards our most serious Constitutional crisis since the Civil War?

We're moving in two directions simultaneously -- towards Tech Bro Fascism and the complete collapse of basic federal governmental functions (without which state and local governments fail). Or maybe that's one direction. I can't quite imagine what happens after the collapse: Anarchy? Civil war?

According to Trump's executive order titled "DEFENDING WOMEN FROM GENDER IDEOLOGY EXTREMISM AND RESTORING BIOLOGICAL TRUTH TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT," we are all women. This helps clarify some confusion I've had about myself and others over the years. Thanks, Madame President!

You are up to date.
