Listen, if he would have just done the read-back correctly the first time I wouldn't have had to go out there and scold him! Using this amazing wonderful piece by @kirena-kaya.bsky.social to announce that I am officially now an Air Traffic Controller!

I’m just gonna say this now: a lot of peeps out there are hating just to hate. (Gonna do this spoiler-free) First 3 episodes into Seven Havens and I’m already loving it. The nods to ATLA and TLOK, the music score is genuinely impressive, and the characters so far are pretty well fleshed out.

Nisha and Pavi make sense given everything that has happened between TLOK and SH, it’s a twist and a fresh start and really show just how out of balance everything is as well as emphasize how badly the Avatar is needed. How that plays out in a world that now hates them is intriguing.

I grew up with ATLA, it is one of the greatest examples of an original concept of all time that has had generational impact. I enjoyed TLOK and in some places more than ATLA knowing how they managed despite the terrible treatment from the execs. Have some faith that they’ll do this story right.

So far the writing is solid without overselling the kids show aspect that we’re my main gripes for ATLA and I suspect that as we get further into the series that more will be explained. “B-but the animat—“ sybau. Have a bit of whimsy and faith and quit comparing it to a show from 20+ years ago.

Man these past couple weeks have really got me in a weird head space. Like, I’m fine, no need to worry there but, man there’s just so much on my mind right now and I’ve got literally zero idea how or where to process it.

The only thing I will say that has me wary on the new OoT remake that I hope for is this: PLEASE for the love of Hylia I hope the VA work is good…if we get another BotW or even some of TotK’s level of corny/sometimes cringe VA work for this it might ruin it for me.

Arenides
@aren.is.rawr.ing

Don’t get me wrong, there was a some really good VA work in both, but a lot of what we got felt like early TikTok where stuff was way overacted on or some even just didn’t give *any* effort. Nintendo is playing with such an immense fire that could easily make or break the world’s trust in them.

Round 1 of the Bully or Bait tier list in no particular order on each category! Let me know if you want to be shifted to another category! bsky.app/profile/supp...

A fun idea occurred to me. A ranking of people on a scale from bully to bully bait. Do you bully others? Do people bully you? Or are you somewhere between? Where do you rank on the totem pole?~ Drop a headshot down below and tell me where to put you! :3

At what point does it become self-toxic to be happy for your friends accomplishments as a coping mechanism for your own shortcomings? I want to be supportive, but how does one manage to keep doing so when the support is for the same opportunities I repeatedly get passed up on?

And just like that, my last ditch attempt to find some level of motivation is gone and over. Literally zero point to the pursuit of passion at this point, hope yall enjoyed the journey with Phantom, cause Ive reached the end of that road here. Maybe one day I’ll pick that back up. So fed up dude.

with the current way the scene is structured and the folks in positions of decision making though I don’t think that’s gonna happen. So fed up dude, but there’s nothing much you can do these days in the general scene outside networking to actually get anywhere.
