This turnip grins like a kid told to smile for their school photos, that’s my child and I love them.
Long before pumpkins became the Halloween tradition, people in Ireland carved turnips into spooky faces to ward off wandering spirits. This wonderful Ghost Turnip is on display at the National Museum of Ireland, Turlough Park, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, and it's guaranteed to stop you in your tracks!

This is exactly why I told my friend he wasn’t going to use Linktree when I could just make him a link landing page on his website. You don’t want your business cards to link to a third party site you don’t fully control.
IMPORTANT: For any artists/writers/etc etc, using Linktree to point people to their work, from 5 July, they'll be feeding all imagery you use on your landing page into DALL-E by OpenAI. I deleted my account this morning.
There’s no way this shit could replace me: Kid- “I’m looking for a book called Kit & Kitty” Me- “I don’t think that’s what it’s called… what’s it about? What color is it?” K- “a girl and cats… purple or pink…” M- “is it Katie the Catsitter?” It turns out yes, based on color I found the right book.

I started The Wave by @susancasey.bsky.social and had the thought, as I often do for some reason, “this book was published before they proved gravitational waves”
The book was published in 2010, but LIGO’s discovery was in 2015 www.ebsco.com/research-sta...

Y'ALL You know how once in a while, a cover absolutely elevates an already iconic classic? Well, click this. Trans cover of Yellow by Dylan and the Moon, as a pre and post transition duet. The weight and height that brings to the refrain, just, ahhh #Music
