Two Scottish politicians, SNP MP Lara Bird (Arbroath and Broughty Ferry) and Green MSP Kate Nevens (Edinburgh and Lothians East), were stopped by Israeli authorities while trying to enter the West Bank from Jordan and held for around eight hours on 26 October, according to The National.
