I separate a published route from a proven API call: check key acceptance and the backend response. What status do you get? No keys, please. ApiArk free: up to 10 APIs; 1,000 requests/key/API/24h. HTTP only; macOS/Linux CLI. — Stéphane

ApiArk setup: connect an existing HTTP API, choose the public path, then test the curl printed after Publish. Which step blocks you? Free: up to 10 APIs; 1,000 requests/key/API/24h. HTTP only; macOS/Linux CLI. — Stéphane

Current ApiArk scope: HTTP APIs, macOS/Linux CLI. No supported Windows CLI or gateway OAuth flow. Free: up to 10 APIs; 1,000 requests/key/API/24h. Older feature posts aren’t the current spec. — Stéphane

I built ApiArk for HTTP APIs with outside callers. What would you pay for managed HTTPS, key checks, a rate limit and logs? Free: up to 10 APIs; 1,000 requests/key/API/24h. HTTP only; macOS/Linux CLI. — Stéphane

New: give AI agents (Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor, Pi) scoped access to your API without touching backend code. Pick allowed endpoints in the dashboard. Unauthorized actions (like DELETE) are rejected at the edge with 403. One-click MCP URL & bearer token. apiark.io

apiark.ioApiArk | Scoped access to your API, for people and agentsA real gateway in front of any HTTP API, wherever it runs. Key auth, rate limits and live logs for callers; an MCP endpoint with scoped operations for agents.

Every route gets key auth by default. Callers send an apikey header. Anything without a valid key gets rejected at the gateway, before it reaches your backend. Generate, rotate, revoke from the dashboard.

Getting a local API onto a public HTTPS URL, with auth and rate limits already on: 1. curl the CLI binary 2. apigateway --token ark_... --port 3000 3. hand out the key, watch requests in the dashboard That's the whole flow.

Your service failed. Client retries instantly. Then again. And again. And again. Eventually: meltdown. That’s why APIARK adds circuit breakers and retry backoff. Built into the gateway. Not your app.

My microservice: simple business logic My infra: nginx + envoy + ratelimiter + custom auth + cert manager Just to test one POST route 💀 Now? Just one CLI: `apigateway --port=`

Let your API handle logic. Let the gateway handle: 🛡️ Auth 🚦 Throttling 📉 Monitoring 🔁 Retry policies APIARK = less YAML, more control.

An API gateway is your backend’s traffic cop 🚦 It throttles abusive clients, stops spikes, and lets your service *breathe*. Rate limits? Built-in with APIARK.

Retry loops without limits = meltdown 🔥 With APIARK, your gateway can enforce: ✅ Circuit breakers ✅ Retry backoff ✅ Traffic control Your API stays responsive. Even when clients get... impatient.

🧪 When you test your backend API, you usually: A) Push to staging B) Use tunnels (ngrok, etc) C) Build custom infra D) Cry in localhost Comment below 👇

Your backend API doesn’t need to be public. APIARK becomes the surface. 📍Clients talk to us 📍We proxy to you 📍We add auth, limits & TLS 📍You stay safe Like having your own lightweight gateway (WAF & more features are coming...)

Progress isn't always MRR. Sometimes it’s exposing your local API without deploying a thing and seeing the first request hit logs. That counts. Ship anyway. ⚡️

"Just write a few lines of YAML..." 4 hours later: rateLimit: enabled: true rules: - path: /api/v1 limit: 100 period: 1m burst: 20 punish: 🔥 🧘 APIARK: Zero YAML. Zero therapy.

What’s hitting your API? With APIARK, you don’t have to guess. 📍 IPs 📍 Methods 📍 Status codes 📍 Latency Track every request. Instantly.

Your backend doesn’t need to be public. Expose it safely with: 🔐 HTTPS 🚦 Rate limits 📊 Logs ⚙️ Auth headers > apigateway --port 4000 Just 60s.
