Used to be Utah didn't get caught up in national politics so much. But Utah Republicans have been increasingly serving MAGA little by little. The insane voter registration records being public and now they are attacking birth certificates in preparation for Trump's midterm play. Disgraceful!

It's wild to me that a public health crises was so quickly politicized. It definitely didn't help that Trump was in charge at the time, leading to criticism and conspiracies on both sides. This is the end result of that. Just more conspiracies that gullible people believe.

I've heard some very popular opinions about Dr. Fauci recently that are just wild. Blaming him for COVID deaths. And I just don't get it. How are people so science illiterate and bought by propaganda? Often I feel like the only sane person while everyone else is losing their goddamned minds.

I still can't believe those people were pardoned by Trump. And now they are handing out 100 year prison sentences for ICE protestors. Goddamn ICE Protestors! Like standing in the way of MAGA SS storm troopers is some sort of equivalent to literally trying to overthrow the US government.

When the DOJ covers up the crimes of the president, this just reaffirms to me that the DOJ should be an independent organization from the executive branch. If the FBI wasn't the president's personal Mafia, maybe we could have proven Trump took that $10 million from Egypt.

There are no "safe" Republicans. They are all lock step with MAGA. To the point I argue there is no Republican party anymore. There's only the MAGA party, and they aren't capable of independence from MAGA, nor Trump. They will go down with him. I don't know the future, but they will all go down.

Incredibly disappointed Ben McAdams the won the UT Democratic primary. McAdams is not progressive, he's a corporate Israel backed Democrat. Might as well send a Republican for that seat. He's Mormon Chuck Schumer. We deserve better. But I guess even the bluest district in UT can't vote progressive.
