Welcome to Steam Hype!

Some news - I’ve joined the Nintendo Life team as Acting Deputy Editor! I'm covering for Alana while she's out on maternity leave, and looking forward to helping out across the site over the year ahead (including tinkering away at guides as always 😍)

Really excited to work with DF on this 🎉🤓💪

I absolutely loved yesterday's Persona 3 Reload Switch 2 reveal, until I didn't. Roughly 85% of Third Party Switch 2 games that hit retail are either Game-Key Cartridges or a Code in a Box and this doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Stand up - www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhkd...

🍌 I'm absolutely bananas for Donkey Kong Bananza!! 🍌 www.nintendolife.com/reviews/nint...

Don't *ignore* the news but don't let the despair consume you. If you find comfort in lighter things, embrace it. You can't individually fix problems of a certain size, but burning your brain out with sadness isn't going to help anyone. Do what you can, but take care of yourself. We need you.

If it’s not acceptable, quit that job. “Shorts at work: Can men now get their legs out in the office?” www.bbc.com/news/article...

I've had the great honor to do the video review of Mario Kart World!!!! 🥳 (Lot's of fun was had with the intro gameplay montage hehehe) Watch here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gs9h...

Gutted for you Chris. That’s ridiculous.

Every relentless, crushing industry week delivers another solid reminder to support independent media. Bookmark them. Visit daily. Seek out their guide content if Google doesn't surface it directly in search. Put them on your adblock whitelist; donate directly to those who have that setup.

Liam Wong had a wildly successful career as an art director for major video games when, during a promo trip to Japan, he bought a camera, and altered his life’s trajectory. In a rare, wide-ranging interview, the street photographer discusses his unique and fascinating journey:

Sweet rejection 🥺 It’s okay though, they probably would have just sent me a Nerf Gun anyway.
