If the joke doesn’t seem funny try reading it aloud in a high squeaky voice.

Walz: "I wouldn't do those town halls if I were them either because they have to defend cutting Medicare, cutting Medicaid, hurting their local public school, fighting a trade war with Canada. Just the nonsense, and defending President Musk."

Walz: "The idea that the secretary of education would not know what IDEA is -- individuals with disability in education act -- that's like your mechanic not knowing how to put air in your tire. And she's in charge of this nation's education progress. It is catastrophic."

The falsest dichotomy. GOP will attack them with nonsense no matter what. “If I vote with them they’ll be nice to me this time,” is the dumbest-ass cycle of abuse logic ever.

Like black body radiation, It seems to be a constant of the universe that the more power a person acquires, the more small-dick energy they emit.

Google doodle for International Women’s Day has icons of things that only connect to women once you already know it’s International Women’s Day AND have a deep knowledge of women’s contributions to science. Way to bury the lede deep, asshats.

The link goes to a page that gives a ton of results that basically say “there are very few women in STEM.” Not one mention of an actual contribution or women scientist. Not one goddamn name. Fuck Google.

If my name was Albert I would probably stop going by “Al” because it looks like artificial intelligence. That sucks though, because Albert is a bummer of a name.

Would Europeans understand an upside down American flag patch as being the distress symbol? Don’t love the whole Canada patch stolen valor thing, but desperately need to communicate “Not one of THOSE Americans” all of a sudden.

Not one dem objected to his certification. Just one dem spoke up at the SOTU. Staking out the moral high ground so they can tell their mates in the gulag how highbrow their positions were.

Left-wing censorship was a fantasy, but the right-wing censorship is real, unconstitutional, and murderous. There was no majority anti-conservative social media bias or casual forced use of words like “birthing person.” But stripping protest rights and official language is actual deadly censorship

The Army deleted my “Why I served” video where I talked about how I decided I wanted to attend West Point/join the Army after one of the cadets my family used to sponsor died in combat. Probably deleted because she was the first black woman to be CSM at West Point.

Canada patches aren’t going to be enough for Americans visiting Europe this summer. What do we put on luggage to say, “I’m just as horrified as you, and just as powerless to stop it”?

At first glance, “What is it for?” seems to break the English rule of not ending a sentence with a preposition. Except in this instance, “it for” means “its purpose” and is therefore the subject.

I think Zelenskyy accomplished exactly what he set out to do and got the best possible outcome of his visit. Trump will do nothing to help Ukraine, and only wants a “deal” to loot Ukraine. By calling him out, Zelenskyy raised his stock with the international community that will help.

I've said it before and will say it again -- the Trump administration is not acting like one that fears democratic accountability next year or in 2028. Draw your own conclusions.

I think it's hilarious how much Apple quietly hates their customers. Only the most expensive iPhone model supports USB3 transfer speeds. The middle and "cheap" tiers only support USB2. Top of the line, if it's 1999.

Help my pal Kari please. She is a force of nature in STEM outreach.

Kari Byron@karibyron.bsky.social

I need help. 3 National STEM Festival sponsors pulled funding because of the current climate. Please help. This is a life changing opportunity for kids that have worked so hard! www.gofundme.com/f/support-th...

The English language EO- the point of this is to remove any language assistance services (hospitals, schools, courses etc), dismiss translators, remove all information available in any language but English. Once I get ahold of the doc, I’ll share it

Tried to listen to the news today. I usually read, rather than watch or listen. My god. The sheer volume of “no one could have predicted this” “what’s actually going on” “guess we’ll never know” energy was astounding. This is wolf in sheep’s clothing journalism.

The Great Gatsby is the Avatar of books: Almost everyone’s read it, yet it has had basically zero impact on pop culture. When was the last time you heard a Great Gatsby reference that wasn’t just, “Oh, I had to read that, too”?

Ah, the Dems’ famous winning strategy of “just vote”.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Jeffries: "Let me be clear -- House Democrats will not provide a single vote to this reckless Republican budget. Not one. Not one."

An ancient machine idles away the millennia, flicking from image to image. None of them have traffic lights anymore. The traffic lights have all gone. Still, that is its purpose. So it looks.

Regardless of the details, let’s assume fed workers respond with a heartfelt essay about what they did last week. What do you do with many thousands of replies? Certainly not read them all. You feed them into an AI grist mill. The machine chooses the images with traffic lights. People get fired.
