Thread on how far Glinner has fallen down his own particular rabbit hole, and how those that still support him are effectively supporting his racism as well as his transphobia.
This is not a "you didn't KNOW?" post because I truly envy and respect anyone unaware of Linehan's output BUT he's been EXTREMELY racist for years now. Attacking black actors on his wife's show Motherland as diversity hires; podcast screeds about muslims in Ireland; delighting in Palestinian deaths.
Evoking Ivor Wood, The Tiny Angry Witch is the best thing to hit animation for years. This is ART, and bloody funny too. It needs picking up by a production company and money thrown at it. Stop-motion animators like this, Clangers, Tiny Chef, Aardman and Laika should be protected at all costs.
⭐️ SNOOZE ⭐️ The Tiny Angry Witch dislikes mornings just as much as we do. It's authentic stop-motion animation. We'd love to have more time to devote to these, so if you know any eccentric millionaires, let us know! Written, built, animated, voice and scored by 4 x people (and 1 x Witch)
Slow clap to this country's sex-obsessed, officious, anti-human registration system that serves nobody.
Reminder that "biological sex" is not a thing that exists. It is a legal fiction in every place that refers to it. In the UK, in the equality act, it means "the sex that was written on your original birth certificate." Incidentally, it doesn't matter if that's due to a clerical error.
Racism and transphobia have been dominating our media for years now. It's time for Leveson 2. It's time to make people accountable for witch-hunts. hackinginquiry.org/wp-content/u...

As Sonia Sodha demonstrated today, a lot of these people have made disgust against their perceived social lessers (e.g., Black and trans people) central to their identities. It's an especially perverse kind of class solidarity, only palely imitated here in the States (The NYT does its best, though).
