baldur's gate, neverwinter nights, knights of the old republic, jade empire, dragon age, mass effect. I have lived years in their games. it is hard to overstate the impact they've had on me. I don't do what I do today without these games.

This owl was getting banded and tagged by the Rocky Point Bird Observatory. For the owl’s safety, he/she was wrapped up. These photos…🤣🦉. So cute.

Last I'll post about this, but Elon Musk disagrees with me. This means I am onto something, and I feel more valid in my opinion than ever.

Deep fried something for the first time in my life. Got some frozen fries, a wok, a spider scoop, and went at it. The early ones were a little undercooked cause I didn't leave them in long enough but I'll get better. I understand the thrill now. The payoff for the risk is huge. I'm unstoppable

Neagley was genuinely great. Better than the latter 3 seasons of Reacher. Solid cast elevated the show significantly while the conspiracy was elaborate and effectively handled if highly nonsensical (which is to be expected). I hope they make more I'd love to see this cast in more seasons

Reacher S4 started off with promise but about halfway the plot devolves into nonsense. It's still fun but I really wish they stuck with the S1 and S3 formula of "big man comes to small town and solves problems" instead of grand conspiracy bullshit. Going by the pattern, I assume S5 will be good

Can a brain surgeon somewhere help explain why I woke up with my head SCREAMING the verse "Just the other night, she was grippin' on me tight screamin Hercules" from the song Smoking Out The Window by Silk Sonic? Why does my subconscious do this? I'm literally confused by my own brain

It didn't just stop there my brain proceeded to continue with the rest of the song for the next hour or so

Hey. Remember that time Acclaim wanted you to name your baby "Turok" and time the birth to coincide with Turok Evolution's release for a CHANCE at $10,000?

MacOS and its preponderance of popups for permissions with no details of any action other than "ACCEPT" or "DENY" is so fucking bad and they seem to think this is great safety These are USB earphones. What is the point of this shit. Deny means I can't use my earphones so the only option is allow

Also to be clear, I have connected this exact pair multiple times on this exact device on this exact version of MacOS many times over this year. And this popup randomly shows up every so often

In retrospect, Obsidian getting Pentiment out there into the world before Microsoft exploded really feels like they pulled off the weirdest heist in gaming history.

CELEBRATION! To commemorate the upcoming 25th anniversary of the Ace Attorney series on October 12, we're sharing a brand-new illustration by series artists Kazuya Nuri and Takuro Fuse, featuring several fan favorite characters dressed to impress for the occasion!

I switched to Vivaldi. It pains me to still be in the Chromium ecosystem but the customisation, the better RAM usage, the similar sync as Chrome is all a huge draw. I've used Firefox as a backup but the sync is terrible and the mobile app is pretty bad

Anirudh@aniforprez.dev

I use Chrome for convenience since it has consistently better sync than Firefox in my experience but the Android app just made Gemini a permanent fixture and I'm going to have an aneurysm. It's taking up so much space as a permanent bar. These people are genuinely evil

@vivaldi.com still has some jank but it's significantly preferable to something like Chrome that shoves these AI features down my throat. Jank can be fixed. Executive brain rot cannot

I swear if the nuke ONLY went off around here and only the area around the Silos is decimated I'm going to scream. If it turns out that they had this elaborate nonsense system all planned out and set up ahead of time and the only apocalypse is around the silos and they didn't bother to look...

Anyways "looking forward" to S4. I'm hoping against hope that it's shorter and better paced. If they add more artificial interpersonal conflicts just to stretch the pacing out I will scream

I don't understand why we went from 21st century looking modern tech to transparent glass displays, cryo tubes and nanomachines without any introduction. None of this was even shown to be operating in any capacity in the daily lives of the Congressman and the Reporter. A to B simply doesn't follow

Everything to do with Silo 1 is thoroughly stupid to me. Their plan seems like abject garbage if the only way they can keep order is through the nonsensical and totalitarian Pact. Someone can make the argument of idiots holding on to power and delusions but -

The Old Bailey in London is a historic building, primarily because Meiji-era defense attorney Ryuunosuke Naruhodo won countless legal battles against his rival Barok Van Zieks there! Centuries later his descendent would follow in his footsteps in the majority-Shinto areas of Los Angeles, California

Watched Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Good movie! My second favourite of the Tom Holland ones. The main plot is pretty idiotic and there's yet another "violence is bad" finger wagging scene that if it came from anyone other than Spiderman would have fallen very flat. Yet very charming and has heart

This just cemented for me how little interest I have in Doomsday. This movie has some city wide stakes but it's still focused on the small stuff with Peter's own conflicts. I could not give less of a shit about the Multiverse anymore. The lines from the Doomsday trailer made my eyes roll

I don't know who needs a real pickmeup today, but in recent court filings about the wealth owned by Andrew Tate, they indicate the Bugattis and Aston Martin he always bragged about owning... were rented. All of them.

This is harassment! Numerous, onerous attempts at forcing me to interact with this shit! Just 2 years ago I'd finally had peace with having blocked ads on all my devices, forgetting that Google is an ad company. These people don't understand consent and they don't want to clearly. Bastards

This is clearly not a permanent solution. Obviously Google is going to try their best to show me the Gemini button and will remove this flag at some point. Changing browsers is most likely the only long term solution

RIP. She was great in Heroes, Until Dawn, apparently she did a ton of video game voice work too. Incredibly shocking. So young and tragic god damn

now that we know how the new season of Reacher is (excellent), a thread about why you should watch What If A Man Was Large, The Show, in the form of a Q&A

Genuinely did not ever like Internet Historian. Never got his sense of humour. I kind the cave video he did but the vibes in his art critique video were off so I unsubscribed. Few months before the Hbomberguy video. Turns out, not only is he a plagiarist, he's a 4chan racist fascist freak
