Looks like I'm doing #ScanlineSunday after all. Hooked up my SNES in a different room to get pictures of all the title screens in Super Mario All-Stars! #gaming #videogames #retro #retrogaming #supermario #mario #snes

No joke. I think this is the most important video I have ever seen about mobile games. This guy breaks down how this game psychologically profiles you, and makes the game harder or easier in order to show you ads

Aidan is firing on all cylinders on this new account. If you appreciate retro gaming, you won't want to miss this.

Hello and welcome to @hotcrtaction.pics! This curated collection of photographs by @aidanmoher.com hopes to preserve the timeless experience of playing retro games on era-appropriate CRT displays. The current rotation of CRTs includes a Commodore 1702 (the GOAT), a PVM-1354Q, and a JVC AV-27D201.

Hasbro has one playbook now and it's doing what they did with Monopoly. It's happened to Magic, it's happening with D&D. License, license, license.

Maybe I'm completely jaded with D&D at this point but I don't think Warcraft and Star Wars should be run in the same game system.

"What have I got in my contextses, precious? *lollum*"

me in fifteen years: I've said LLM like "lollum" for years, i'm sorry to say

I'm always thinking about how much work taking full advantage of a VTTs adds to my prep plate but the folks at DMHub have a legitimate solution here: crowdsource the work!

need a new map for your next Draw Steel session? codex has you covered! learn more in this new video: youtu.be/5vfsJtQX7II?...

Eberron has followed me from my first experiences as a dungeon master running D&D 3.5e back at its launch after WotC's 2003 setting search. I continued running in it through both 4e and 5e even before Rising, and even a stint running both Savage Worlds and Dread.

Crows.

But just to illustrate, I completely see the joy of elaborate encumbrance rules for games of desperate losers doing opportunity-cost calculations on how much copper they can get out of the dungeon. Not usually my jam, but it’s a completely valid case, *if that’s the game you want*

The framework sets five clear expectations for data centre projects: Data centres must create lasting local benefits. Data centres must not shift electricity costs to Canadians. Data centres must minimize water use and environmental impacts...

Any advice for Draw Steel Directors for making Negotiations feel less like a mechanical puzzle? I want them to feel natural as part of a social encounter scene, but still want to make sure the players are fully aware they're engaging with a negotiation.

Without saying your age, what is your favourite movie that came out when you were 20 years old?

Even stronger is the feeling in Draw Steel when your ALLY does something and YOU get heroic resources for it. Teamplay!

EnderC@andruc.dragoon.dev

Something happens to you when you spend your first 5-cost heroic ability and you just want MORE

For example, the tactician gains focus the first time in a combat round that any nearby ally uses a heroic ability, which is all the time!

I've been using Opus for planning and Luna for implementation but it looks like GLM's new Flash model might've usurped that position already?

The father, the son, the holy spirit, the grundle, and the fleshy fun bridge

new joke format just dropped: you say the father the son and the holy spirit, then add two extra things.
