Created a family nutritionist AI assistant with access to our methylation test results and recommendations (called Gene Hackman, obvs) and it’s a game changer for meal planning support

Taking today largely off the tools to think and prepare my physical space for productivity Couldn’t resist registering a new domain earlier for an idea tho That’s the trouble with making space to think #buildinpublic #indiehackers

We have a new pack :D It's my 3th one for #buildinpublic so there are over 300 people in there. Feels like I am doing an inventory for this community 😅 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 👉 go.bsky.app/GCFvkML 👈 👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆

My 2 #buildinpublic starter packs are full! Can we find 6 more so I can start a 3th one? :D Please check your not on one of them first :) bsky.app/starter-pack... bsky.app/starter-pack...

Ok, so this is a bit stupid. I wanted to know how difficult it would be for a tiny team to get the documentation in place for SOC2 and ISO 42001 compliance 🧵 🐎 🛒 #buildinpublic TLDR; totes-possible.

So after a little reading, I spent a little over an hour setting up StrongDM Comply, and then used Cursor (w claude) to trim and tailor all the SOC2 templates a tiny team might need, and drafted a few additional ones to satisfy ISO 42001 | AI - Management Systems AN. HOUR. 🤯

The result is amazing to me. It’d still need proper review obvs but honestly it took myself+team+consultants *months* to get to this level of draft policy and procedure quality last time round Horse before the cart and all that, but... curiosity satisfied, for now. Thanks Comply. And back to work.

Got in a few tweaks to dotective.com this morning. Most notably: auto-focus on next missing cypher key, math problem, or letter on correct answer Still haven’t quite nailed the sticky header (hidden phrase and cypher key) yet. Scrolls away on mobile when the keyboard is shown

I have a head full of imaginary businesses waiting to be built.. and an 11-month-old toddling around the house, pulling everything out of wherever it’s been carefully put. Creativity and chaos, hand in hand as ever.

You are up to date.
