Just re-uploaded a great interview I did with author @andrewgrevas.com about his first book, @horrorinhaddon.bsky.social: youtu.be/-4Hif7X6OgI #Halloween #MichaelMyers #AuthorInterview
Work is almost done. Holding out hope that I can speak with @markfrost.bsky.social if at all possible before I submit to my publisher.
Turning 42 today makes me realize that this is my last birthday where my new age will be one of the numbers from LOST. Yes, I am that much of a nerd. @damonlindelof.bsky.social
@markfrost.bsky.social Hey Mark! Wasn’t sure how to best contact you. Wanted to see if you would be open to a brief discussion soon, in regards to my next book. Hope all is well.
I’m starting to use Letterbox, several years after most of you already started. Trying to find familiar faces on there. boxd.it/f1vnD

Thanks to @andrewgrevas.com for an AWESOME video interview about his book “Horror in Haddonfield: Halloween’s Untold Stories!” Michael Myers fans, you will DEFINITELY want to listen to this one! wickedhorror.com/horror-news/...
Haddonfield is a few hundred copies away from going out of print. That’s wild. If you haven’t got your copy yet, I wouldn’t wait much longer. www.amazon.com/Horror-Haddo...
John Carpenter & Dean Cundey’s work together resulted in some of horror’s most atmospheric shots, that leaned into the genre’s visual past while also pushing it forward. Cundey would tell me of his love of 50s monster films that kickstarted his imagination in our interview for Horror in Haddonfield.

Location adds to the lore of horror series. Haddonfield’s trauma was visible. Springwood tried to contain its dark secrets. Crystal Lake tried to move past its violent history. But all 3 series made their locations a character, which adds additional layers of storytelling over the course of sequels.
It might look like an average older home, but it’s recognizable to almost every horror fan of a certain age. Evil lived here. Photo courtesy of @underthefan119.bsky.social

This warms my cold, dark horror heart — and not just because of a very kind personal shoutout from @sharai.bsky.social. The Shudder team when I was there felt like we had a mission, and it’s so lovely to hear that others felt it too.
Undeniably, SHUDDER set the blueprint of horror streaming engagement but has it’s influence made our fandom and criticsm more highly tuned? @sharai.bsky.social has thoughts for #NightTideMag! 👻 📺 📽️ nighttidemag.com/2026/05/25/s...
