Nick

The part that he’s especially right about is that they’re here paying taxes and receiving little to no benefit for it. It is deeply wrong and disturbing that an immigrant will pay more taxes than any of the billionaires that are trying to tell you that they’re why your life is hard.

One of my favourite games of all time. Get it!

The BC election just shows that the world is too expensive and our governments too owned by corporations to do anything meaningful for us. Electing a conservative government won’t help in any meaningful way of course, but it’s still true. This unregulated capitalist economy is a boot to our necks.

He’s just a silly little guy!

Not the top Steam review of Dressmaker making me cry this morning!

Friend: Sends something made with AI. Me: I’d really appreciate it if you didn’t share AI content with me. (Gently) Friend: Oh, I’m sorry. Geez. Me: All good! Thanks :) Friend: Hey, look at this! *sends AI content*

I DO think it would be interesting if some kind of low interest loan program would be available for Canadian companies that are cut from parents but still willing and able to work. Problem would be in establishing who is responsible for ensuring whatever project doesn’t fail or run away.

About to start the Takamura vs. Hawk fight in Hajime-no Ippo. Maybe the best fight in the series? Certainly the best one not to feature Ippo.

If you pronounce Tidus like “tee-dus” you’re a cop. Can’t wait for that teed to come in! We have the highest teeds in the world here in NB. Oh no! My clothes are dirty! Anyone got any teed? Oh crap! My family is coming over! I better teedy up!

I’m so excited for Final Fantasy Resonance 😍 With this, Dressmaker, and Ocarina of Time soon… Gaming isn’t as bleak as industry news at least. And I know Belmont’s Curse will grab me soon enough too when I’m in the right mood 😍

All 32 achievements on Dressmaker, so now I’m extra ready for Final Fantasy Resonance tomorrow 😍

If you haven’t watched Hajime-no Ippo on Netflix yet (or via the high seas), you absolutely should. Best anime fromage. Best boxing fiction. Great fights.

One of the few games that I’d say could go into a museum.

Next gen console prices are rumoured to approach $1500-2000 They can keep them at that price! I was a console player for a long time but I’d never even consider paying that much, even if a bunch of cash fell into my lap.

That whole Alberta referendum vote nonsense sure was a big old embarrassing waste of time and hundred of millions of dollars. Separatists can all easily separate themselves and go elsewhere, luckily? I’m not in Alberta but I do think these folks are wacky as hell and just as dumb.

I would like to no longer feel like I’m being microwaved

This little pencil from one of the test labs is desperate for mercy after creating countless selection slip tests

POV you walk upstairs into the light and into HIS JUDGMENT

Truuueee true true

Some sickeningly cute ghost puppy photos from a few years ago when Booker was in his wacky poofy headed teen phase.

Pisces: If you see a shimmering light in the night sky soon, be not afraid. It’s just your prodromal schizophrenia.

HE LOVES ME

The mug exchange put out a call for a story on the mug that’s been living in my head. I’ll be watching closely

I’m getting this one as soon as my currently playing list looks a little cleaner.

Please go see Wildwood if you can. It’s tracking to make nothing and this studio can’t die. It can’t be lost in the age of AI shortcuts and creative bankruptcy.

My daughter workshopped a joke/pun this evening. It was absolutely terrible, but I’m proud of her for trying to think out some wordplay??

It gets so bad when I’m off my meds and everything I put down develops insane camouflage stats.

Rays vs Brewers is the ideal here for me as a neutral fan, but a first championship in 78 years kinda rules too.

Quality Metroidvania!

Need to learn a couple of these. In general, not showing up to every argument I’m invited to has been a fantastic life hack.

Love to see it. A potential first time champion getting it done against a team that pays more than twice for their players. Dodgers will win a couple more I’m sure, but it’ll be fun to see someone else win

I miss so many of my friends and always promise myself that I’ll make more of an effort to do things with them that aren’t playing games online.

I’d rather die with BlueSky than coast by on the nazi site.

GTAVI is going to rightly run away with it this year. I don’t see a scenario where it isn’t one of the highest rated and best selling games of all time. It’s THE video game for a lot of gamers. The casual (not an insult) audience especially. Absolute juggernaut about to hit here.

Sure is harder to play the “get the gas pump to a beautiful round number while pumping gas” with these prices… YEESH

I need my kitchen island doom pile. Object permanence is NOT my strong suit and I need my little leave the house things in 1 place or I WILL leave without them Like showing up at a hotel without anything other than my phone. Or not knowing where on Earth the keys are even though they’re right there

That Ocarina remake is going to be all I do for a week or two.

This is a real video game, being auctioned off in a real auction group I am in.
