So if you own the game on PC or the Xbox one version digitally, you get 50% off the new one, no other strings attached. Yet, for people who own the PS4 version digitally, they only get 30% unless they PS+. PS+ is mandated to get the same discount everyone else gets. That’s some horse shit.

Suikoden 1 100% hard mode cleared. I’ll need to do the same on Suikoden 2 in order to get the platinum, but that’ll have to wait a bit. Outside of FF XIV, I think I’m going to give the PS5 and XSX a rest for a few months and focus on Switch 2 and PC.

My suikoden time on PlayStation is going be way off the mark, lol. I keep meaning to play it and then get distracted and do something else. Probably have at least 70 hours of AFK time on it. Am near the end of my 100% hard mode run for Suikoden 1 though.

Real gamers play games, not platforms. When it comes to how and where you play them, go with the one that makes the most sense for you. The games have always been and will always be the entire point. Doesn’t need to be any deeper than that.

While I’m not happy to see PlayStation and Xbox console sales hit such lows, at the same time, I am relieved to see that most people are not stupid enough to pay the current prices for what is 6 year old hardware at this point.

One of the worst things about society and the media at large is the sensationalism. The actions of one are not representative of the whole and it’s long overdue for us to stop acting like they are. It’s so tiresome.

Apparently Sony is selling off their VR patents to Meta. Not unexpected, but still hate to hear it. I never owned a VR 1 and have been contemplating getting a VR 2, but felt like they dropped the ball not being compatible with VR 1 games. Damn shame. May still get one if they clearance them.

Growing up when “a night and day difference” actually meant something, really makes it difficult to take anyone seriously when they say that about something that’s maybe a 5-10% improvement.

I really do hate when these HD compilations decide to only have one trophy or achievement list for multiple games. Especially when they basically require you to get 100% in each one, in order to earn the single platinum/mythic. Straight ass, lol.

Sony really wants me to buy Wolverine, with all these notifications they send out on PS5. I will end up getting it, but it was never going to be a day 1 game for me anyway. Kind of always intended to snag a physical copy for 40 bucks off a GameFly sale here in a few months.
