This trend of making movies out of video games was going so well so far. Why did Street Fighter had to come and ruin everything? The new movie feels like watching a 2h tiktok compilation. At least the old one had Van Damme in it

I still don't understand why we're still having daylight saving time. Didn't the European commission announce they would stop this all the way back in 2019?

A funny side effect of enshittification is that big tech apps are becoming worse than their low budget competitors Best example is Ling, people used to see it as a cheap made-in-thailand Duolingo knockoff. But now that Duolingo is basically slopware, Ling is 100% becoming the better alternative

I have decided to spend the evening digging through Steam's #NextFest to see if there's some gold among the competition Wish me luck ok

Cactus Flats is about tending to crops and shooting bandits The music is quite nice and the little western town almost makes you want to settle in the desert Sadly, there's a bit of screen tearing and the controls feel very unintuitive. I hope they will be able to fix that before release

Eldritch Break is a shooty game where you shoot at shootable stuff. Or something like that I guess I'm a bit too tired to play action games so I just ended up falling to my death, repeatedly A good sign that it should be the last game for tonight

Next one is Lacey's Flash Game A nice throwback to the 2000's internet. The goal is to explore a cursed flash game website While the first game jumped super quickly into weird stuff, I didn't really get how to find the secret in the second game

Valkyrie Iteration is a raising sim about coaching a mecha pilot Stat management is pretty straightforward. The evangelion mood is really there and I love it. The demo makes a pretty good job at hinting toward a bigger story I really like it so far. Some of the pixel arts are quite neat

First one is called Revive! Onsen Town! It's a farming sim about making friends in rural japan While it all does look very comfy, it's also missing a little bit of polish. The 2D animations are sometimes a bit off and it lacks controller support. Could be a good game with more time

Second game is a RPG called Passion It's basically neo-noir earthbound. I kinda like the general vibe of it (and the option to have a "stoner" difficulty) But you have to beat up a lot of squirrels to get anywhere in that game. Like a lot. A whole army of squirrels

Now that Epic is done melting half the ice caps to speed up their launcher by 5s, could they please port the BuildPatchTool to Linux? It's 2026 I shouldn't need to run a Windows server to have a complete CI/CD pipeline

I'm really feeling like a professional blender wizard now

Still doing a bunch of tutorials in a desperate attempt to get good at Blender

Is there a name for the feeling you get when you really enjoyed a piece of media, get online to check what everyone has to say about it, and realize most people didn't like it?

I wonder how many people play cozy organizer games are living in messy rooms in the middle of empty coke bottles and unwashed underwear It's probably just me being gamerphobic but I'm sure it must happen

I've been mocking up in #Godot some UI for a silly idea. A trading stock simulator à la paper please. The gameplay and jokes would only land for very few people I guess!

Mikochi, the minimalist self-hosted file-manager, now gets to version 1.12.0, featuring a rework of the authentication module. It fixes a DoS vulnerability so if you're using an earlier version you should definitely upgrade. As a bonus it should be more memory efficient github.com/zer0tonin/Mi...

Made this little diorama to practice 3D modeling in Blender. It took me a lot more time than I would like to admit but at least I like how it looks

Next time will be better because I managed to become somewhat efficient at unwrapping UVs. I do think I need to get a bit faster at cleaning up meshes (or be less perfectionist about it idk)

I should maybe try without smearing the brush strokes to see if it reinforces the cartoony look

Nowadays programmers will spend all their energy coding as fast as possible and optimizing every part of their workflows, but not even spare a second to think about if anyone has any use for what they are making

I kinda like this year's Ghost in the Shell's remake. At first I wasn't 100% sold on the art direction but it has grown on me
