Finally set up a self hosted Tranquil PDS and successfully created a new account and everything is working correctly. Now to stress about migrating my account eventually but ultimately not doing that for at least a few months.

People clearly have not been paying attention because Hank has made it quite obvious in recent videos that he uses AI. Also funny it’s the pushback comment that caught folk’s attention when he pulled a “You’re absolutely right!” in the same video.

Every time our fiber internet goes out I think back to the satellite internet I had growing up that would cut out if a big cloud passed overhead. I wish I had even half that amount of patience for outages now, because this is ruining my day.

In all fairness, back then I was just wanting to message my friends in online chat rooms. Now I’m trying to get through the workday while working off of hotspot. If my remote server connection drops one more time I will be quitting my job as that’s obviously the only reasonable solution.

Had to change my 2nd flight to Denver instead and drive the rest of the way home. Apparently enterprise won’t let me return the rental car to my hometown airport next day, it’d have to go back to Denver. BUT, I can keep the car to Sunday then it’s fine to return elsewhere. So dumb 😩
