I have a wonderful community of people from all over the world that I met in the GOK chat over shared laughter. There are so many places on twitch where I don't feel comfortable as a neurodivergent queer and the GOK are different

Well, we're suspended from Twitch for (???) days. And we don't know what we did to get suspended. And Twitch won't tell us. So. Pretty cool! Thank you Twitch. Also we took down the VOD channel for the time being just in case that counts as "ban evasion." Anyway. Hopefully we'll be back soon???

With so many people new to organizing, there's a lot of normies who are unfamiliar and uncomfortable with tactics of resistance. Rather than coddling them, why not have an honest conversation with them and do some political education?

Ask about their fears and concerns and give them some historical markers to better understand different tactics. They don't have to join anything they don't want to. But their fear of the unknown shouldn't dictate what other people choose to do to resist, either.

Just want to put out there for details sake: -my twitch stream was indefinitely suspended and I appealed bc the reason of ban evasion makes no sense (I've never been banned) - appeal was rejected with the explanation that I'm connected to a banned account that was created a few months ago.

This really seems like an automated moderation issue, but I can't get a hold of a real person at twitch to fix it.

Also the banned account name, I'm told, is some kind of Russian "your mom" joke, which the accusation that this is my joke is perhaps the most offensive part of all of this

-I have no connection to this other account and my only twitch accounts are my main one (h_dubb) and my bot account for alerts (im_unbanable) -I've streamed as h_dubb for 5+ years with no suspensions, well before this banned account was created that they say is me

@merrykish.bsky.social I've been streaming on twitch for over 5 years (h_dubb) & my account was immediately indefinitely suspended stating l committed ban evasion. I've never been banned so there's no way for me to be doing ban evasion, but my appeal was denied 😭 Can someone please help me out?
