I have given up on This City is Ours. I actually gave up in the first ten minutes of the first episode of the first series. I am purely watching for Diana now, like the absolute dog I am.

I really enjoy the Libero podcast, but the best bit is always when big Migs D gets a WhatsApp from a Premier League executive or something. Every episode, without fail. Often about the exact topic being discussed. They could be talking about ancient Mesopotamia and it would happen. Superb gimmick.

Absolutely incredible stuff. What is going on here?

I'm a White Scottish non-religious woman from Bathgate and Linlithgow, in my forties. My top issue is the economy. In 2024 I voted Reform UK. Today I'd vote Labour.

I still can't quite accept that Anthony Gordon plays for Barcelona. Not because he isn't good enough for it, but because it just feels discordant. He is a Real Madrid guy, possibly Bayern Munich, but not Barcelona. Yet here we are.

Everything about this is Monday Night Football - the teams, the game, the atmosphere, the commentators, the conditions. Every last detail, except it's the Super Sunday 4.30pm game.

A month ago, Sir Jim Ratcliffe lectured the Prime Minister, telling him he should run Britain in the same way he runs Manchester United

His time is done at Manchester United. I think they're a club, I said, in crisis. I don't think players want to play for him. I don't think players want to go there and join him. I think the football they play is not exciting, even by their own standards. I would put Zinedine Zidane in right now.

On a related note, watched the second season of America's Sweethearts on Netflix recently and I am now fully prepared to travel to the US to campaign for Jada for POTUS when the time comes. Absolute legend.

NEWS: the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders have unionized and the Cowboys have agreed to recognize the union

Palmer not sent off for the Fernandes incident does show how weird football's conception of 'violent conduct' is. If I had to be on the end of a fairly light tap on the head by an opponent's head, or what Palmer did then, I know which I'd choose - and it's not the one that is a red card offence.

Rogers with another timely example there, too. There are a lot of challenges punished by a red card for serious foul play that I would rather be on the end of than that one.

I am fully acclimatised, but knowing we are in for several, grinding months of the cold, dark and wet is nonetheless utterly miserable. An extra hour in bed is nice, I guess, but the clocks going back is also the signal that my quality of life (and mental health) is dropping off a cliff for a while.

I enjoy The Traitors and love that it is a cultural phenomenon. But it feels like we are past the peak and this series has exposed some fairly fundamental flaws. The Faithful caught two early, but are now worse off. Hopefully they can refine it without losing too much of what has made it a big hit.

I have read a few people calling the Faithful "useless" and suchlike. But they caught two Traitors early doors, and their reward for that early competence has been for the game to become much tougher for them. Which does feel, to me at least, like a pretty fundamental design flaw. #CelebrityTraitors

Watching Liam Delap play football is mesmerising. Just never looks fully in control of his own body or the football. It is kind of like watching a gangly Great Dane bounding around with a pack of terriers.

You don't have to like it, but should Bournemouth beating AC Milan at home really be *that* much of a shock to anyone who follows football closely? Bournemouth have a better squad and would stand a good chance of winning Serie A if you dropped them into it.

If I went on Location, Location, Location, I would wink at Phil or Kirstie whenever the other one was speaking, and berate them both halfway through filming - and insist on it making the final edit - because all the properties are shit.

Catholicism emerges from McKenna's three-pronged tombola today. Will be something about trans people tomorrow, and probably a bit of Kate Forbes fanfiction on Thursday.

Certainly seems to have been a post-Covid spike in selfish arseholes feeling empowered to behave like selfish arseholes, and it does really show itself on public transport. With the younger ones, it tends to be music. With the older ones, itโ€™s phone conversations.

On a bus with about forty other people at the weekend, and we have a woman deciding to have an obnoxiously loud conversation with a friend or family member on speaker. It was about a fairly invasive medical procedure, too. Public transport, and public spaces, are not an extension of your house!

Just remembering back in 2023 how we would receive a push notification from the BBC every other day to inform us that yet another child had been mauled to death by an XL Bully.

Just about to tune in to today's big game. I have been assured that Derek McInnes was holding Hearts back and they are now better coached, so expecting an away win here against a fragile Celtic.

It does feel like this series, and the Faithfuls performing half-competently, has exposed some of the inherent flaws in the game design. What has been the real value in getting rid of the Traitors so far? They would genuinely have been better banishing bad Faithfuls at this stage. #CelebrityTraitors

Some will smell a bit worse than others, but they are all swimming in a pool of shit.

Great win, that. Bit meek until 1-0, but reacted superbly. Delighted for Mozza, felt like there were a few folk waiting to go for him (not on here, obvs), despite the whole 'We'll be patient when he hits a rough patch!' stuff (said about every young manager, never actually happens these days). #WBA

Heggebo hasn't been at it recently, but I do think the lack of quality service has been overlooked - his penalty box movement, particularly at the front post, is very decent when he is serviced like that. He has missed Johnston more than most, but a really well-worked goal there. #WBA
