I love the happenstance of these two posts in my timeline. @brokenbottleboy.bsky.social @dustysevens.bsky.social
‘ @laurenlaverne.bsky.social thank you. I contacted the show with my thoughts about Amy but you perfectly reflected them in your own comments during the final interview. Thank you once again for a beautiful show.
...and their pastry is a darker colour than I prefer. well seasoned and I enjoyed it immensely. Percy Turners was their usual high quality. 10/10. I would certainly head to Dickinson's again though, commendable effort. @petebrownbeer.bsky.social @gargarin.bsky.social @mattzki.bsky.social
Just watching Josh Widicombe marvelling at his distant relative Mary Boleyn.A quick google search suggests that 100,000s of people are likely to be related to her. Also anyone with English genealogy going back a few generations is likely to be related to a historical figure from that time. Sorry Josh

My council, as its very first act took the pride flag down in front of the town hall. They said it didn’t matter They said it was woke nonsense If just ONE person in Barnsley felt like this It mattered
So we fly a pride flag in our front yard in a very conservative neighborhood and it’s been there for the last few years. Someone put this in our mailbox and my goodness…
We no longer get the chance to stop at Altofts station which has now closed. In all the years I travelled to Leeds I hardly ever saw anyone get on. It felt like a forgotten set from Fiddler on the roof. The wind from the Urals was always keen.
Off to Leeds on the “fast” train. We need regional accents for platform announcements. A very plummy voice announces every inappropriate syllable of Meadowhall, Kirkgate and Barnsley.
No @imcmillan.bsky.social stroll this morning: out early for a bus, my German umbrella belies its Vorsprung Dutch technik heritage, a man passes, I smile he doesn’t, chickens getting their morning bread, a black dog bounds joyfully in the rain, a steamy rainbow coloured 66 pulls up with pride.
