As much as I hate Trump, Musk, genAi and all of its supporters, you may notice scrolling through my timeline seeing very little of any of them. This is because I do not need to be broadcasting their views for them. They're all annoying enough by themselves.

It's the equivalent of picking up shit from the sidewalk and running all around trying to get people to sniff it and verify that it is, indeed, shit. In a polite society, we pick up the shit and dispose of it quietly so that we can get back to enjoying the beauty of the world.

And so I ask people: Don't screenshot it. Don't quote-dunk it. You're not going to change their mind, you're just the spreading shit around. Instead what you should do, and what I should be doing more, is boosting the works those who are doing good.

I feel it's important to share this again. The internet is so hostile toward creators nowadays. I've seen people have their work stolen, and no longer feel comfortable sharing their creations. We can do better. Let's be supportive to the people that make this a better place! 💞

I agree with this, but also, regardless of monetary value, it's a display of contempt. If you're aware that people feel hurt by this dumb trend and you join in anyway, it sends the message that you don't care about them. Seems like a fair thing to get upset about.

Not to beat a dead horse but i think people who say the Malfoy trend doesnt give JKR money so who cares need to consider Gacha companies comm artists all the time and theres no link to the game or anything the art itself is a positive promotion
