I promise, I still am working on The Last Walkers, but it takes a lot of thinking and then a lot more editing. I will be done.

I feel like a real game author! someone paid money for a thing I made, and then lodged a complaint! (unable to open pdf) which I had to do 'customer service' for! Look at me everybody! I'm doing a customer service!🥰 (Also: thank you to anyone that downloads any of my games, paid or not.)

When I say I'm really struggling in the editing of The Last Walkers- It looks a lot like this [pic]. Each of the 14 'pages' contains multiple dozens of items to review. And without fail, editing one part means 5 other things screw up. I promise, this WILL get finished...

When writing rules for a table top RPG, how pedantic is too pedantic? How finely stipulated should the rules be while trying also to offer as much player agency as possible? The work on The Last Walkers revision is taking me forever!

Thanks to what I can only attribute as latent ADHD, I have done ANYTHING ELSE other than completing the editing of The Last Walkers. I've set up an entire Kickstarter, painted models, created assets and doomscrolled over three days. Only 1 section of the to-do list on the editorial is checked. 😵

Feeling a little glum today: it will cost me £140 to renew my webhosting, I've made about £60 from my 'games sales'. I'm finding it very difficult to find a way to want to keep 'Afour games' going if its only sucking money from my pocket.

When editing, it's best to use meaningful names for internal styles or layouts. Dong so means later editing can easily be interpreted. Which is why I take such care on things like this so I don't become confused by my own previous edits. 👀😅 #GamesDesign #Indie #TTRPG

I REALLY do want to finish my update to The Last Walkers (previously The Long Walk)- so many people recently visiting on itch of a version of the game that's not rightly complete. I'm considering making the page private until I can get the new release, but also, I don't want to lose the momentum!

Very happy to report a very successful test play of The Last Walkers (previously: The Long Walk) a group of 4 players with no knowledge of the game were easily able to get going and played through two days of the game, and while the session was cut short - everyone gave positive feedback!
