After months of development staring at a monitor until my eyeballs explode into green goo, me and buddy pals' RPG Maker jam game is available for download. It is very unfinished, many placeholder graphics still, but lotsa work was put into it. Please give it a sniff! rpgmaker.net/games/13441/

I think when I get a liiiil bit more done I'll show what I've been working on. I have been working my booty off on this and I am proud of what I got so far

I have been spending the past few weeks making a completely-custom menu system in stock RPG Maker 2003 and I am very excited to share it when I'm done.

I'm making a frankenstein of damage formulas and mechanics from different jrpgs. I'll make sure its fun tho..

If there is a way to properly make a win32 app (like RPG MAKER 2003) dark mode without skinning the rest of Windows 11, I'd really like to know. The white in the ui sets my eyes on fire and makes working longterm very difficult. There are apps for universal dark mode but its just inverting

Mixing the old Win XP Nintendo Desktop Manager software and Windowblinds 11 allows the skins to work in programs that use the Windows Classic ui. Very cute but also messes up a lot of other shit. Crazy it works at all tho on Win 11

It's probably not very surprising but RPG Maker 2003 games compiled from the 2015 steam update still work on XP machines.

Trying to not fall into the ol' trap of feeling like I'm done with something cuz I shared a wip, so I will have to share when it is done-done perhaps

Learning programming a lil and not having much fun realizing the reason I had fun with RPG Maker 2000/2003 so much was trying to do stuff not expected in that engine.

Messily-experimenting with pixel art in the Atari 7800 aspect ratio. This shit is the most freeing, fun doodling I've had in a while

I must apologize... this is NOT the correct Atari 7800 aspect ratio... the correct aspect ratio is 12:7(1.714 par)... please dont slowly saw my head off
