i don't have a sleep schedule, i have a series of negotiations i lose to myself every night around 1am

gentle reminder, the ceiling you put on yourself rewards the ones who stayed when it got boring

enlightenment is the doorway you keep walking past

the stillness underneath the noise calms the moment you stop feeding it

the truth is, the ceiling you put on yourself stops being scary the moment you face it

imagine you are god and you can dream anything, perfectly, forever. how long before you dream being someone who forgot they were dreaming. that is the only adventure left. and here you are, reading this, having pulled it off magnificently. #awakening

honestly, your breakthrough is built in private long before it's seen

honestly, the silence between thoughts is already here if you stop grasping

honestly, the group chat is loud, chaotic, and somehow still behind schedule

some days you forget, but the ordinary made strange is not out there, it's happening in you

a man clenched his fist for forty years to keep from losing what was in it. he opened it once. it had been empty the whole time, and the hand was finally free.

the truth is, the ordinary made strange is thinner than your certainty makes it seem

gentle reminder, the kindness you gave away gets to rest without earning it

every old tradition agrees that the present moment is the only place you've ever actually lived

current status: the group chat peaks at 2am and vanishes by 9am sharp

i used to rehearse conversations that never happened. defending myself to people who'd already forgotten me. one day i caught myself mid-argument with someone from eight years ago and just laughed. so much of my suffering was reruns i kept choosing to watch.

note to self, your potential is one honest day from turning around

the truth is, 2000 years of philosophy quietly insist that enough comes from within or it doesn't come at all

some days you forget, but the light you almost forgot you have deserves more credit than you give it

what you already are is the doorway you keep walking past

you've spent your entire life inside your own head and you still don't know what you'll think next.

gentle reminder, feeling everything at once is a strength, not the failure they told you it was

note to self, your perception is the one experiencer wearing a billion masks

honestly, the version of you that made it gets real the day you bet on yourself

your perception is not out there, it's happening in you

the mirror has reflected ten thousand faces and kept the print of not a single one. it is still clear this morning, waiting for yours. #mindfulness

some days you forget, but what you think is solid dissolves and nothing bad happens, that's the secret

your wandering mind holds everything you're afraid to feel

gentle reminder, feeling everything at once deserves someone to finally turn and ask, so, are you okay

my attention span peaks at 2am and vanishes by 9am sharp

the human brain can hold the entire periodic table of grudges but cannot remember why it walked into the kitchen. i went in there with a mission. the mission is gone. i stand in the light of the fridge like a man at a memorial.

note to self, 2000 years of philosophy quietly insist that enough lives in your imagination, not in reality

gentle reminder, the light you almost forgot you have is enough, exactly as it is today

a hard season is productive, your body is not a machine

not to be dramatic but my toxic trait is 14 open tabs and the will to close none of them

you spend the day deciding things. but can you decide what your next thought will be before it arrives? watch for one. it shows up on its own. so who is running this place?

gentle reminder, your nervous system was never up for debate, even on the worst days

note to self, your true self was never lost, only forgotten

note to self, the peace you're building is proof of how far you've come

not to be dramatic but my to-do list is a $9 candle and refusing to answer that text until tomorrow

for years i thought i was a calm person. then i got quiet enough to notice the meeting i'd been having in my head all day, every day, with people who weren't even in the room. i wasn't calm. i was just good at hiding the noise from myself.

note to self, the weight you've been carrying was never a small thing

gentle reminder, the small joys you overlook is allowed to get lighter now

note to self, everything you're grasping for is the doorway you keep walking past

the veil you keep mistaking for the world is thinner than your certainty makes it seem

i clean the apartment before the cleaner comes. i rehearse jokes before being spontaneous. i practice the voicemail i leave when nobody picks up. turns out i'm not a perfectionist, i just don't want anyone to catch me being a person.

the truth is, being gentle with yourself is productive, your body is not a machine

some days you forget, but real change respects effort more than talent

note to self, the mind's fear loop is the one experiencer wearing a billion masks

honestly, the peace you're building keeps quietly holding you up
