tfw people’s political commentary on the street is indistinguishable from TV pundits’ talking points and it happens with both a drunk guy at the bar, and a supposedly sophisticated suit at a café

I know it's easy and comfortable to just parrot what you're supposed to say, but you need to think where your opinion is coming from, and where the opinion of who you're talking with is coming from if you're not doing that, you're not having a dialogue

Very happy with the progress we're making on the @juno.do app. Try it, and let me know what you think!

🚀 Juno app is out — with true offline. Your full planner on mobile, even without signal. Check tasks on the train, start time tracking mid-flight, and mark things done before you land. This isn't just a "companion app"...

Getting started with PARA in Obsidian. I've tried to overcomplicate this before, let's optimize for action this time. Honestly, this framing adapts very well to my constraints and way of working. Curious to see how it works for me long-term.

Hear me out: a switch on the YouTube home page that makes the feed only recommend you videos from the watch later playlist, sorted algorithmically.

Prompt yourself like you do with AIs. When you prompt, you are outlining your goals and how to get there. You should always start there when you try to write something. Starting with writing the final product will just cause you pain.

Very good, concise and illustrative way to put it.

People spend a lot of time wondering why the left is worse at using independent media to control the national narrative. A useful exercise is to ask why the left is also worse at selling snake oil and pyramid schemes, because I think the reasons are basically exactly the same.

You might not believe this, but in Spain thousands of services, like our digital planner, fail whenever there's a LaLiga match because the government BLOCKS ALL ACCESS TO CLOUDFLARE DURING GAMES. If you're in Spain, now you might see some errors. Sorry about that!

My screen was flickering after ~8pm if dark UI mode was enabled. There is something called "black stabilizer" hidden in your picture settings. Setting it to zero fixed the issue completely. Thanks again, random Reddit user.

This morning I spilled a coffee on myself, luckily just on some sweatpants. Now I feel like I’m in a café everywhere I go. I might do it on purpose next time.

I’m working on a free practical guide to help you reflect and set your life goals. It will have three exercises you can follow along and complete in 30-45 minutes. I’m hoping this can help you get into a more purposeful mindset. Would you be interested?

This just in: Reports confirm that “just winging it” will continue to not work in 2025—just as it didn’t in 2024. Get yourself a solid personal productivity tool.

For those who are building digital products, any advice and experiences marketing B2C SaaS? B2B seems much more straightforward in comparison. Currently, it seems the only choice is to spend as much as you can on ads.

ChatGPT is quickly responding to DeepSeek R1 by making o3‑mini, a new reasoning model, default and free. Models are reaching parity and becoming interchangeable commodities. Reasoning was the latest jump, but it doesn't fundamentally change what an LLM is—it’s just a new way of using the same tool.

Next innovations will also come from fresh approaches to applying LLMs as commodities, long before we see another qualitative leap in the underlying technology.

You should worry of having a single teacher, so as to avoid taking their teachings as gospel. You should worry of having a single pupil, so as to avoid believing your knowledge is universal.

We’re so sad Rise Calendar is sunsetting their service. Rise has been such an inspiration for us, by far the best calendaring experience. We are decided to build that experience. Let us know and we’ll add you to our advanced calendar features private beta.

Great move by Facebook to trigger people to stop scrolling and close the app, and pushing people towards alternatives.

Facebook on mobile got completely unusable now… not only it's showing me just random "suggested" shit now, it also locks scrolling on ads for an "ad pause" 😳 Someone must've got hit hard on the head if they think I'm gonna wait 5 seconds on each ad while scrolling, lol
