Californians in #CA48 are fired up to send Marni von Wilpert to Congress & help flip Congress! With less than 3 weeks to Election Day, @marnivonwilpert.bsky.social and I are reminding folks to make a plan to vote, vote early if possible & tell your neighbors that they too can help stand up for CA!⁩

Today, Chinese state media were given more access to the White House grounds than major American media outlets. Reminds me when Russian media alone was able to capture this image with Russian officials during Trump 1.0. The preference for dictatorships hasn’t changed.

The Supreme Court just rejected Trump’s efforts to make it harder to vote by mail. While this is an important win, these meddling efforts will not stop here. That’s why every eligible voter needs to show up for the midterms, and reject any attempts to suppress the vote.

At a time when RFK Jr. and other anti-science voices in the administration are threatening the health of our citizens, we need champions in Congress to fight for quality, affordable healthcare. Champions like Dr. Richard Pan in CA-06. Proud to join him on the campaign trail.

The Republicans’ pick for Senate in Georgia has ties to white nationalists, and his staff helped get a Holocaust denier out of jail. Do Senate Republicans still stand by Mike Collins — even as he refuses to condemn his ties to white nationalists? www.cnn.com/2026/07/16/p...

I have read the San Francisco Chronicle’s account and I am deeply distressed by its allegations. This woman was brave to come forward, and we should take her story seriously. I am withdrawing my endorsement immediately, and believe that he should withdraw from the race.

Paying $5/gallon for gas to drive to an airport where you'll wait 4 hours to get monitored by untrained ICE agents as thousands of American troops prepare to deploy to the Middle East to fight a needless war. Another day in Donald Trump's America.

Building a golden ballroom. Now looking to acquire and develop new government golf courses for the President and his friends to play on. No wonder Trump thinks the affordability crisis is a hoax: he’s got all the taxpayer money to play with that he wants.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

The Trump administration has issued a notice of default to the group that manages Washington’s three municipal golf courses, effectively positioning the president to operate its public golf properties.

So, to get this straight: Putin met with Trump. Putin questioned the legitimacy of mail-in ballots. And now Trump wants to end mail-in voting. Once again, Trump is acting like Putin's puppet.

The president won’t rule out a pardon for a convicted child sex trafficker and Epstein’s co-conspirator. Says he is allowed to do it. Nothing suspicious about that…

Trump on pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell: "I'm allowed to do it"

Inflation is again on the rise. Our global alliances are fraying. And the President's name is in the Epstein Files. So... does this make America Great Again?

There he goes again. Playing the greatest hits. More baseless smears. He really wants you to be talking about anything other than his coverup of the Epstein files.

They pushed out or fired people working the disaster assistance lines. And Kristi Noem didn’t authorize FEMA’s deployment of Urban Search and Rescue teams until 72 hours after the flooding began. Such tragic malfeasance.

When you celebrate the idea of opening new prisons, while closing down hospitals, something seems really off. How about holding off on the celebrations until you lower prices for families? Like you promised.

The Big Ugly Bill would be "the biggest job-killing bill in our country’s history." Those aren't my words. Those are the words of NABTU – representing America’s 3 million construction workers. I stand with labor. And I'm standing strong against this bill.

Today, Senate Republicans are voting to kick millions off their healthcare. Even then, it won’t fund all of their tax cuts for rich people. So they are also increasing the national debt by trillions, raising your energy costs, and more. A big ugly disaster.

The Supreme Court just took away a powerful tool for standing up to a lawless president. Overturning decades of precedent does not make the court, conservative. Far from it. Only dangerously partisan.

Trump: "Thanks to this decision, we can now promptly file to proceed with numerous policies that have been wrongly enjoined on a nationwide basis, and some of the cases we're talking about would be ending birthright citizenship, which now comes to the fore. That was meant for the babies of slaves."

Don’t worry, you can totally trust him on *this* one. Just look at the Ukraine war that was ended on day one, the prices that went down, the tariffs that are definitely working, the 90 trade deals in 90 days…

Trump brazenly lies: "We're cutting $1.7 trillion in this bill and you're not gonna feel any of it. Your Medicaid is left alone. It's left the same."

Today I introduced a bill to crack down on Trump’s corrupt crypto scheme. No president — or their family — should use their office to get rich at the expense of the American people.

Two immediate problems: First, this shows the conflict of interest in Elon getting the contracts to begin with. Second, cancelling them underscores just how much Trump awards contracts based on the support he gets — not public safety or anything else in the public interest.

House Republicans are celebrating passage of a bill that will take health care away from 13 million Americans. Add trillions to the deficit and debt. Increase our reliance on foreign oil. And take food away from three million Americans.
