I’m imagining a phone call between Joel and Avi: (Phone rings) Joel: What the fuck is going on at ManU? Avi: Yeah, not sure. I guess they’re keeping Carrick now? I don’t know. Joel: This is a joke. I thought they said they knew how to run a soccer team? Avi: Maybe we got conned? (Cont’d)

Joel: Seriously, we did a way better job than these phonies Avi: Can we buy back their shares? Joel: Well, we kinda need them to build New Trafford. We’re still keen on that name right? Avi: It’s ok. You’re right, though. Plus I’ve used up my portion to buy that cricket team. Joel: Shit.

Joel: What’s Ed up to these days. Avi: He just sent me a selfie from the South Pacific with the caption “Don’t even think about calling me to come fix ManU, life is good here” Joel: Right, maybe Rich or John then? Avi: I think they’ve blocked my number. Joel: Dammit. We have to do something.

Alternatively: Manchester United are racked by indecision and keep Michael Carrick for the Chelsea fixture. United hierarchy emphasize Carrick and the players have to suffer the consequences of their utter ineptitude for at least another week.

Manchester United keep faith in Michael Carrick for the Chelsea fixture. United hierarchy emphasis that Carrick and the players now have the chance to turn things around. (samuel Luckhurst)

The whole world now sees the gross ineptitude that is United. But just imagine being in that dressing room where they’ll really know everything that’s going on. Complete and utter disfunction. Gross negligence.

To borrow a phrase from my favorite show: Shit show at the fuck factory. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Michael Carrick will 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 of Manchester United for their trip to Chelsea this weekend. Sources have told BBC Sport that Carrick will be given the opportunity to turn things around at Old Trafford following a dismal start to the season.

When you’re run by clowns, expect a circus. This fucking club. 😂😂😂

That is a situation that cannot be entertained much longer. There needs to be clarity, and it must be communicated properly. www.nytimes.com/athletic/772...

Does anyone still believe the club actually did a thorough head coach search last spring? Sure, they may have sounded out representatives but there’s no way they actually had in depth discussions with anyone. Add that one to the ever-growing pile of lies.

The Blue Cartel. 😂😉

If you follow conspiracy theories there might be something in how a Chelsea fan and former Leeds/City employees are now running United. 1. Sir Jim Ratcliffe (CO-OWNER) ; Former Chelsea season ticket holder.

I saw this stat brought up on the Overlap a week ago. All I can really do is laugh at this point. A worse win percentage and, if they sack Carrick, an absolutely torrid run of choosing ill fitting head coaches. These lot are absolutely clueless.

Woz@wozzatron.bsky.social

United’s win rate under Woodward / Arnold = 52.3%. United’s win rate under the INEOS mob = 37%.

For the most part, I think the fanbase have held pretty true to this. Nice to see Carrick get cheered off the pitch yesterday. I find it very sad to watch another club legend get thrown under the bus by incompetence above him.

There’s obviously differing opinions on the transfer window, but I’m wondering if we can all agree on one thing? If this season goes sideways, I DO NOT want to see a Carrick pile on. An inexperienced manager should have had more tools. Berrada and Wilcox out long before we turn on Carrick. Cool?

Somewhat surprised to wake up to no news coming out of United. I wouldn’t trust anyone on our board to pick the next head coach, if that even needs to be said.

Cluck, cluck.

Forget Michael Carrick and all the rest of it. Manchester United, now and for a while, are a consequence of the disgraceful moment in May 2005 that should never have been allowed to occur. Took two decades but the chickens are very much home and roosting

I think any manager considering the United job seriously needs their head checked. How is it still a coveted position? The owners and board no literally nothing about running a football club, we're apparently broke, the players will down tools anytime the going gets tough. It's a poisoned challice.

When Omar Berrada told Andy Mitten he saw us winning the league this season or next, I really wish his follow up question would have been "what the fuck are you talking about, mate?" It's all talk and no action with these lot.

He wears a look as though the world might fall, With worried eyes that search for safer ground; A man unsure when duty comes to call, While confidence and courage can't be found. cont'd...

The transfer plans appear a desperate guess, The squad still cries for wisdom, strength, and care; Too green, it seems, for such a daunting mess, With little proof that he can take us there. So hear the Stretford faithful's bitter cries: We need a chief, not fear behind his eyes. Fin

The idea that you would bench Bruno and not use the opportunity to play Cunha as the No. 10 is wild to me. Carrick brings him on at HT, which serves as an admission

Let’s please not jump all over Yoro either. He’s been one of our best players the last few games. Younger players make mistakes, that’s life.

It sort of amazes me that Mount seems to escape any criticism. 5 PL goals and 0 assists in 55 starts over 3 seasons is really poor. I imagine if he wasn’t English he be slated more often.
