It's been a hell of a series though. We're definitely watching the origin of the two new powers in the W. Whomever takes the chip is gonna be the team to beat for the next few years as perennial top clubs like NYC and Vegas retool. Movement this off season is gonna be *wild*

This was the best end to end game by Golden State. Howard did a great job of keeping Williams contained, but Burton and, surprisingly, Stokes picked up the slack, with Stokes hitting some massive threes. Defensively, they've thrown multiple bodies at Reese, which ATL has yet to solve.

Great quarter for the Valkyrie as they maintain control of the pace despite the Dream making a push. Howard looks like she's gonna be really aggressive in the 4th, but Golden State has done a great job of keeping everyone else contained. The big question now is can they close it.

Golden State coming out to start the third with a run, to push their lead to eight. That's a massive lead in game like this.

Neither team blinking in the first half. It's just gonna be a tough, grind it out game where every possession is coming at a premium. Burton's aggression has given the Valkyrie the edge, but ATL seems fine with keeping the game close and waiting for the right moment to push.

Ha, I can't stop chuckling about how Burton keeps throwing herself into people and then fusses about not getting calls. But her aggression is the difference in the game so far.

Very tight first half as both teams know turnovers usually decide the game. I like the Valkyrie sticking with the line up that gives them a bit more offensive punch to start, but the Dream know they are going to have an opportunity b/c that GS offense comes and goes. So it's a chess match.

Valkyries keep their same lineup from Game 4 (which was a switch-up). Charles, Hayes, Stokes, Williams and Burton.

So, Amber Cox, the Indiana Fever GM, essentially said players and fans are lying about the issues they are having with Fever supporters and she got fired a couple of weeks later. On the same day, team president Kelly Krauskopf steps down. I don't know what's going on in Indy, but it's not good.
