And yes, it has achievements :)

If you want to uninstall the copy of Zero that is directly attached to 8 and save some storage space, here's the steps:

Due to emergency maintenance for a security issue, the Ace Combat Wiki and all other wikis on @wiki.gg are shut down for a few hours. (Any other wiki platform should also be doing the same... if they're smart.)

The first post-launch patch for AC8 is scheduled for October 23 JST. Highlights include adjustments for boss fights in Missions 15 and 28, mission softlock fixes, and reducing the duration of ECM, ESM, and IEWS in Online.

They have acknowledged the UI and menu controls in Ace Combat Online and are prioritizing improvements for future updates. PC players can now purchase Ace Coins without the Steam overlay turned on and enable or disable Async Compute for supported GPUs. Full patch notes: acecombat.jp/ace8news/?p=35

Bandai Namco has posted a public survey for AC8. The survey includes questions for your opinion on the story, gameplay elements, and marketing, and also has a text input near the end for open-ended feedback. #AceCombat survey.bandainamcoent.co.jp/jfe/form/SV_...

QA testing is still underway, but once the update is pushed, you will be able to launch Zero either through 8 like you do right now or through a separate listing in your library. They expect save data to sync between both methods of accessing the game.
