Handsome

This ia how #fireblight infection starts: through flowers. This was on Saturday. On Monday the leaves around these flowers wilted and started blackening too. I have cut the branch 6 inches back. Hopefully that is far enough where the bacteria hasn’t reached yet. Oh, and the tree is #pear.

Sad to hear that someone I've known for quite awhile, especially since we were from roughly the same region of Washington, has passed away. We weren't super close, but he'll be missed. Especially for his friendly disposition and incredible kindness. Rest it peace, Arik 🕊️💕
