Jacob Fowler at 21 years of age looking better than Carey Price ever did at the same age. I've believed in this kid from day one. I don't care if it sounds like hyperbole. He's going to be legendary Tonight was just the beginning. #Habs #GoHabsGo

Blues versus #Habs time

It's not weird at all. This is what these guys do. The slightest criticism they fly off the handle so any criticism in the future they can claim they had their lives threatened and continue victim status. That's the game. Fuck you got mine only I matter.

The wildest part about Pat McAfee's weird comment about the University of Utah is the video that provoked it... *this* is the video that broke him:

Guessing this was Johannesburg. A lot of wrestlers were unhappy going there and they haven't been back since 2018.

Former WWE executive George Barrios said talent wasnt held hostage in 2019, and then immediately describes *another* situation where WWE talent was prevented from leaving a country. The headline on this slop is crazy; the actual news is a 2nd, previously unknown extortion of WWE!

Unredacted: WWE's media rights deal with Netflix gave Netflix first rights to negotiate for UFC domestic media rights. Those rights ultimately went to Paramount, not Netflix.

Delaware Chancery Court rules WWE can't keep this sentence related to their Netflix deal redacted. Despite affidavit from WWE General Counsel, the claims of harm were deemed too general and "[i]t does not matter that the case settled and preempted the court's need to rely on the information."

Why aren't these CEOs proud of AI? Are you not calling it the future and just a tool? Shouldn't you be happy to have it disclosed? Why do you want to hide its use?

I have a social media app called Hey.Cafe I got because I wanted to support a Canadian app and it's literally just "Facebook is banned from posting the news in Canada so here's the news now"

Chain Gang of 1974 made four great songs this year: Thinking of You Crying Tired to Shine Forever Your Star Thinking of You might end up my favourite just because of its reference to Slow on the FELT album.

TNN refusing to give ECW even five minutes for a single overrun compared to TBS giving AEW infinite overruns for as long as they want to go tells you the difference in relationships.

Okada has been great but because people want him hitting 7 star matches weekly they always feel let down. Punk's great in-ring work needs at Brawl Out. He never had anything close to the Mox match following. Most of the Collision stuff is Cope level followed by a wildly overrated Joe match in UK.

I'm not even sure AEW Catchphrase Okada has been markedly better in-ring, to be honest. His baseline as a worker is so much better than Punk's that it probably has, but he has coasted so much. In-ring, Punk was a massive success at AEW. And that's not even counting the ratings and tix he moved.

The reality is that absolutely anyone can be James Bond. It's a basic character, not much special to it, you can adjust where needed, etc. I'm looking at Louden, Turner, and O'Connor and they all feel like Treadstone agents over 007. I would personally go with Jack O'Connell if I was Amazon.

Gonna say this isn't blackface but if someone did the same look but for the Wolfpac it would be.

By the way, if anyone listening to the WCW section of the latest @btsheetspod.bsky.social wanted to see IAccidental?) Blackface nWo Fan, here he is:

I honestly believe that for North Americans it's going to take a generation for them to get out of boosting rage bait. I blame The Daily Show for this. It was entirely designed to show dumb politicians and say, "See how dumb this is? Ha ha!" and that's the only way they know how to engage now.

Rafa Sales Ross@rafiews.com

I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

Twitter was the next step as it's all about dunking. Bluesky doesn't have as much, but the 2010s were built on it. People can't help but share someone saying or doing something they dislike so they can go SEE I'M SHOWING EVERYONE HOW MUCH I THINK THIS IS DUMB AND BAD and it doesn't help.

I don't think dunking and shitting on the bad side will ever go away because humans should be expressing themselves in all ways but we need to stop thinking that dunking on stuff is praxis. It doesn't actually get things done. It's just a reaction.
