If your API client randomly crashes with Cannot assign requested address (EADDRNOTAVAIL) you exhausted Linux ~28,000 ephemeral ports! Every closed TCP connection lingers in TIME_WAIT for 60s. At 500 req/sec without Keep-Alive, all ports lock up! Use pooling + sysctl net.ipv4.tcp_tw_reuse=1

in SQLite, INT PRIMARY KEY and INTEGER PRIMARY KEY are NOT the same. INT PRIMARY KEY creates a secondary B-tree index and requires 2 seeks per lookup. INTEGER PRIMARY KEY aliases directly to the internal 64-bit rowid B-tree key: single seek, zero extra index, half the storage

It's so satisfying playing with wand in the home page. Such a unique website design 10/10

Just had to downsize my Oracle Cloud VPS 😅 Reminder if you’re using OCI Always Free: Ampere A1 limits are officially dropped to 2 OCPUs and 12 GB RAM. Deadline to adjust your setup is Aug 18, 2026 before over-limit instances get terminated!

One thing I really want @zed.dev to have: First screenshot is from Cursor and I can clearly see the only difference is the white-spaces. Second is from Zed which doesn't ignore those white spaces and shows modified lines as a whole!

One thing makes me mad about @zed.dev is that I have to restart it to see changes (new files, updated code ..etc) that are done externally (by another code editor or agent running in a separate terminal for example). does anybody experience this?

The latest @zed.dev update is game changer for me. ACP now starts instantly, before it was very slow. The new agent layout just replaced t3code (which I just discovered few days ago and liked it very much). I can now see code, modify it, asking agents to do the work, review diff changes ...etc

I have this `loop-until-successful` bash script: ``` #!/bin/bash trap "break" SIGINT my_command="$@" while true; do $my_command if [ $? -eq 0 ]; then tput bel break fi done ``` I only have to use with supabase since this thing always sucks
