The desks of Harper Moyski and Fletcher Merkel - two students killed in the shooting at Annunciation Catholic School - sit empty in the Capitol this week as a reminder of the horror of gun violence. The majority of Minnesotans agree, it’s time to ban assault weapons.

democrats should internalize that this is what their colleagues think of them and act accordingly

Philip Bump@pbump.com

After pointing at Democrats and saying they are "crazy," Trump says, "We’re lucky we have a country, with people like this. Democrats are destroying our country, but we stopped it, just in the nick of time." Just insanely destructive. Indefensible — but Republicans stood and clapped.

This weekend a THIRD Christian Trump supporter tried to assassinate Donald at Maralago. And it was barely news. Corporate media continues to refuse to tell anyone that these assassins are all Trump voters. Instead, they highlight the administration’s fabricated claims that they’re Democrats.

An ICE agent shot and killed Ruben Ray Martinez, a US citizen and San Antonio resident, in March 2025. Then ICE and the Texas Department of Public Safety covered it up. He was 23 years old. I am calling for a full investigation into this shooting, including why there was an 8-month cover up.

Judge Goodwin: "An anonymous government is no government at all. It cannot be held accountable. A masked agent freely uses force without justifying his actions, and the public cannot name him to challenge his conduct. A regime of secret policing has no place in our society."

👀The federal judges in West Virginia, where ICE has been pulling over and detaining people on the freeway, are literally screaming about ICE's tactics. "It is an assault on the constitutional order," Judge Goodwin says. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

I've been seeing a lot of people disparaging democracy as a failure. It has not failed us. We however as a nation have been failing it. For it to succeed, it needs an engaged and informed populace. Which is why those who want power but not responsibility, attack Free speech and public education

Trump is demanding billions of dollars from his own Justice Department and many legal experts are now saying the circumstance is creating an unprecedented ethical and legal morass. Trump creates confusion with criminal intent. He ran for office with criminal intent.

Let’s be real. They haven’t even really begun to release the Epstein files yet as the law requires. This is what they chose to release, flood the zone and move on. We must keep going.

Any political party spreading lies about voter fraud as a pretext to make it harder for every one to vote is sending a clear message: they can't win on their ideas alone. Remember this.

It's the mainstream media's faut! They wanted trump in office partly on behalf of their owners and partly so they had a daily disaster to report on. Now their job is simply to repeat everything he says like a gossip spreading rumours.
