Literally a Sunrise Movement cofounder: “Lawrence has criticized [Michigan’s solar preemption law] — he said in a radio appearance that wind and solar critics have ‘some good points’ and that the state solar preemption has allowed utilities to ‘build mega projects without community buy-in.’”

Dumb question that surely has to do with insane US rail economics, but why is there no commuter rail (using light rail DMUs) doing Norwich-Mohegan Sun Casino-New London? Tracks are there, is a direct, flat route, and jobs and residential areas are close to the rail line.

According to sources cited by The Wall Street Journal, President Trump's administration has proposed former Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán as a candidate for UN Secretary-General. The United States is reportedly counting on Russia and China to support the idea.

Y por qué el NYT es a pesar de todo el mejor periódico del mundo:

SHOW ME THE DOCUMENTS>>>>> We did something sort of crazy at The NYT this year, as we look for ways to dig into what has happened at the Environmental Protection Agency since Trump returned to the White House. We collected more than 466,200 pages of federal and state documents.....

Leed esto:

We have them all in house at The NYT. Of that total, about 10,000 pages were at the core of our story examining the Clean Air Act air toxics rules and the move by President Trump for the first time in U.S. history to exempt over 200 polluters from these rules www.nytimes.com/2026/10/24/c...

i wonder what percentage of the electorate now understands that this man and maybe 75 other people like him are actively trying to destroy our lives. that he is the biggest national security threat we have faced, even moreso than bin laden or whoever. its got to be dawning on more and more people

NEW: Elon Musk gave his super PAC $76 million in just two weeks of October, and more than half of its new candidate spending went to one race: the Texas Senate fight against James Talarico. He’s now given more than $445 million this cycle, far more than he spent electing Trump.

The Executive Branch has no authority to regulate states’ election decisions as to candidate qualifications, and the choice to file a lawsuit like this just days before an election speaks volumes about the political corruption festering at the top levels of the DOJ.

NEWS — The Trump administration sued Alaska over Dan J. Sullivan’s Senate candidacy, arguing voter confusion could affect the race between Sen. Dan S. Sullivan and Democrat Mary Peltola, per Courthouse News.

This is what the flyers look like. Not from a real organization. Their entire purpose is to increase the salience of trans issues before the election. Billionaires can do this because we are in a completely unaccountable environment. The Federal Elections Commission has not had a quorom in 2 years.

Sabotaging American foreign policy in order to help win an election is one area where Trump genuinely isn't an aberration. Nixon sabotaged peace talks with Vietnam and Reagan backchanneled to prevent Carter from getting the hostages in Tehran released. A long-standing Republican tradition of treason

Relying on external contractors for key military infrastructure is a terrible idea, and Musk should be hauled in front of Congress ASAP
