How hard would it be to replicate a community Slack installation to an ATProto lexicon so messages can be archived or sent to other application for indexing? Is there any community lexicons for this already?! cc @bmann.ca

Yes, we are moving to storing everything on protocol, but we depend on permissioned data, so we are still working that out and trying to get a prototype as soon as possible.

We already have lexicons, generated from our app's TypeScript schemas. I just pushed them to a repo since they weren't committed. The caveat is that Roomy stores data in "events" not in "records" right now. You don't edit events, you just send new ones, so they work a little different than normal.
