Amost certainly the highest sea surface temperature since the peak of the last interglacial period, about 125,000 years ago, and perhaps much longer.

There is no all-time record. There are only maxima calculated from reliable measurements sufficiently comprehensive to determine them since those became possible. We are talking about within living memory.
