It would be great if #OTP and #ElixirLang releases were better coordinated with Docker Hub and GHA - current situation: OTP 28 breaks a lot of Elixir code, our Sentry SDK is broken, there are a couple of fixes needed and we can't yet run our test suite on GH as there is no OTP 28 there yet.

@lawik.bsky.social sounds like a great first task for the newly minted EEF board :P

What would be your preferred procedure? Is the experience that people grab the newest based on release announcement and the images are not ready at that moment?

Yeah I think the docker images should be deployed prior to the big announcements.

Totally. This is a pretty integral part of the general infra that the ecosystem depends on.
