It would be great if #OTP and #ElixirLang releases were better coordinated with Docker Hub and GHA - current situation: OTP 28 breaks a lot of Elixir code, our Sentry SDK is broken, there are a couple of fixes needed and we can't yet run our test suite on GH as there is no OTP 28 there yet.

What would be your preferred procedure? Is the experience that people grab the newest based on release announcement and the images are not ready at that moment?

Maybe not the ones, who are using it all day. But what if someone comes newly to the #ElixirLang? They would just grab the latest Elixir and Erlang version and then be negatively surprised 🤔

Yes people can't test things out when images are not available.

Yeah I think the docker images should be deployed prior to the big announcements.
