Oh right. Intro post. WorkingBits builds things on the web, anything from very straightforward static sites on up to complex apps. We exist because there's vanishingly few places anymore where you can actually...build stuff for people?

Everything is bent to the needs of the "number go up" mandate. If you want websites or software that works, we increasingly think you have to turn to people who aren't beholden to outside investors or the perverse incentives they create.

Anyway, we build stuff! We try real hard to use the right tools for the right job, so like...if you need a brochure site for your business, we won't load you down with a giant Javascript framework (we try not to load you down with *any* JS unless there's absolutely no other option).

And we have a deep conviction you should own your own space on the web. We won't lock you into platforms, tech stacks, or contracts...not even our own. Also, we'd love to work with co-ops, non-profits, artists, and anybody else who gives a damn about the world they help create!
