I stopped using google maps when they changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico. That was freeing and made it easy to stop using all google products. Alt search engines now give me better, non-targeted results, my GrapheneOS phone makes life much better. Libre for office tools. Reject Google, be free.

You can submit a missing place as feedback in Google Maps. I recommend everyone do so for Lake Ontario prior to deleting the app.
