Musk is so fucking stupid that he thinks if he eliminates the job then the need for the job vanishes and he's created free money. I can't overstate how stupid this South African nazi is.

What's heartbreaking is that it's been so nice to see like, blood test results as soon as they're done due to tech development. It has helped me make appts quicker and get diagnosed earlier. Now I want to tell the staff not to post my files online. It's no longer secure.

Let it all collapse. Let people stop getting their checks. Let everything come to a screeching halt, then maybe the idiotic Republicans will finally wake up because the American people will be up in arms. Something really bad has to happen for people to finally wake up, they are not listening.

BTW, did you know that people can have their monthly premiums for Medicare Advantage plans withdrawn from their monthly Social Security payment? And that Medicare has to communicate with Medicare providers as well as Medicare Supplement insurers, and report lots of info. to Medicare insureds?

These "savings" are so short-sighted. If systems aren't updated, some kind of ransomware attack will happen. That won't be cheap to fix. Of course that assumes saving money is even the goal. Given the risk vs reward when you mess with critical services, you do wonder.

As a software engineer, we’ve been telling our client for years that the tool is going to break if they don’t allocate funds for an overhaul Now the tool is breaking, the client is big mad, and we get to call it “the realization of an approved risk”, biz-speak for “told u so”

It is already done. There is no protected data any longer. We have to face that reality. The only hope is that the felon destroyed this country enough that no other country even cares to have our data.

Just told my son who is graduating next month with a computer science degree that they will be needing some cyber security professionals to fix all the crap that’s happening now! He can’t find a job. Last year they were calling him to work now no one can hire anyone. The future is too uncertain.

I think so. It’s going to be needed in a few years for sure! He was looking into a masters degree in cybersecurity. He will keep learning. He’ll also get some IT certifications. We are so very fortunate that I can help give him a place to live and food to eat while he does all this education!

I can’t wait until one of the big tech providers pushes out an update or patch that causes all of HHS to go down. Don’t they remember Cloudflare? They’ll wish they had their IT staff back. 😂

Have seen this before. They’ll hire all the fired federal workers back as contractors and have to pay them triple or quadruple their previous hourly rate to fix the mess made by the inexperienced and ill informed DOGE destroyers. Good for the federal workers. Absolute idiots running our government.

I'm not a genius like Elon or Trump but even I know that simply eliminating a job doesn't eliminate the need for it. Now all those unmet needs are coming home to roost.
