Actually, an interesting note I found recently: Most of my city and state sites depend on Twit & FB for emergencies. Well, Twit & FB are more and more restricting access to non-users I've been reporting this to my city/state leaders saying these have become unreliable platforms for emergency comms

Site traffic = stock value metrics. Visitors to X. com, assume NOTHING on that site is private or legit. The only privacy/cookie options on X are "accept all" or "refuse non-essential cookies". "Non-essential" to whom? And the privacy policy opens in a new tab, not in the same sign-in tab.

Hard to say that Twitter/X is anything other than state media now. That has some huge implications—both from the standpoint of public perception & legal consequences. The First Amendment plays differently now that X’s conduct = state action.
