Spit bubbles. In 1st grade, I was making spit bubbles while our teacher read a book to out loud. Dale, a boy in my class that I had a crush on, said out loud "That's cool Mary." I was very embarrassed. But at least I got his attention. 🤣

In my experience with humans & dogs there are large individual differences: some remain quite flexible into old age & some become increasingly rigid. Most folks become more conservative with age but I became more liberal.
