When you said “this is Fudge” my brain didn’t recognize it as a name because it’s early and I’m medicated… so I said “no that’s mud.” (On the ground)😭🤣

Years ago, my standard poodle proudly swam out to retrieve a ball, only he got caught up in the river's eddy. He, too, had no clue that he was swimming to nowhere. A very nice friend braved the cold, snowmelt water to retrieve my pup.

I had a yellow lab and a black lab years ago. The black lab loved the water and it was hard to keep her out of it. The yellow lab hated it. My ex picked up the yellow lab and threw her in a canal. She swam but immediately got out. It was a hilarious couple.
