Honestly, while this is wrong/illegal on so many levels…it’s probably best for them to go work somewhere else. It’s going to be a circus 🎪 at DOJ for at least the next for years. It’s going to be, not the LAW that matters but “what does trump🤡 want us to do” there. Scary 😱

Andrew, why isn’t anyone challenging the pardons of the J6 insurrectionists? No one may be a judge in his own case; the President cannot pardon himself. DOJ OLC 1974; Marbury v. Madison. Same principle applies to pardons issued with corrupt intent, to obstruct justice, or aid confederates. Someone?

There needs to be a massive go fund me so that anyone targeted knows they won't have to go bankrupt in court. The federal government has basically an unlimited budget for prosecution. No ordinary individual can match that.

Media needs to cover this full-on assault on Constitution democracy as a thing-of-the-whole, not isolated acts. They seem to want to overlay a national mob-like syndicate, with independent fiefdoms arising organically. Laws & rights being harder to change, they're neutering enforcement mechanisms.

They seem to be hoping citizens and even Congress doing the approvals will assume conventional ways of doing things can continue to apply. With reduced safeguards, other lines of power will arise with neither checks nor tracking. By time GOP Congress wakes up, it'll be as irrelevant as any of us.

In 2015, I asked Bernie Sanders during a WNPR radio interview whether he thought the Republican Party had become lawless. This is before Trump's escalator ride. He said no. I wonder what his response would be today.

Correct - b/c in the normal wrongful termination context you get put back to work and back pay - that will never happen - and now if they get jobs in the private sector they will likely make more money and thus limited or no damages - unless he says stuff and defames them -

Yea he’s not at all on a revenge tour. I’ll never forgive Mitch McConnell Not so Supreme Court Merick Garland Republicans that didn’t speak up Media that pushed his lies and didn’t call him out at every turn and his hate for the country But mostly, the people who voted for him

CFPOTUS (CFP Trump) Is desperately trying to rewrite history as to his failed insurrection he orchestrated on Jan 6. Now this convicted felon is trying to remove DOJ prosecutors who worked on this tragic event and replace with those who will attempt to change this history.

I see all of these abusive orders generating lifelong enemies of the Rethuglicans. Machiavelli said it is better to be feared than loved, but you must not allow yourself to become hated. I think they have generated a lot of hate in a lot of people in just one week.

Andrew, I’ve admired you and listened to you on MSNBC for years. But I must say that most of your predictions as to what will be decided by the courts in regard to Trump’s actions don’t seem to pan out like you and I think they should. Perhaps a little less trust in our legal system is in order.

WE The People "hire" a person to Be the President.By voting. If a person who was hired by the people is "No longer Good." Not doing the Job ,hired for dangerous. Can I "We" fire this person? Using Article 25? Impeachment.⚖️ Congress?⚖️ Thank you , you are a very wise teacher Andrew Weissmann.☮️

Who adjudicates the terminations? MSPB? Fed cts? What are r allegations here, and who will decide how to frame the specific questions to 2B decided? Will these be individual or class complaints? It would be nice to read an informed analysis by someone with a clue, rather than random hot takes, sorry
